More than Human is a fantasy book written by the author Paul Knight. The story features Professor Caine, Dr Abridge and Rutland. They have shared the news to the world about the ten superhumans. These superhumans are collectively known as The Guild.

The media is interested in knowing more about the superhumans. They asked Professor Caine if they are born or genetically altered but it’s too soon for the professor to share anything with the media.

Zethar and Raziel, the superhumans have high profile rescues and they have caught most of the attention from people. Read this story to know more about these superhumans.

The storyline is interesting and the pace of the story is fine. The world building is interesting. The way superhumans could touch even those from whom the cops are scared is amazing. This book will take you on the rollercoaster ride. Action lovers should go for it without any second thoughts.

“Regent Alpha: Part One” written by the author Jakcub Anthonnie Young is a paranormal fiction. The main character of the story is Jacqueline. She has always looked forward to college. When she was leaving home for college, she felt excited and scared at the same time.

At college, Jackie felt a headache, pain in her body. She felt hunger she couldn’t control. Her classmate Laird Hendrix tried to tell Jackie about why she is feeling like that. Hendrix had gone through something similar and so he could help Jackie. Will Jackie accept his help? It was interesting to see her whole life turning upside down in a moment.

If you enjoy reading stories involving fantasy, mystery, action, etc then go ahead with this one. The story is interesting and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the writing style of the author. I am really curious to read part two of the series as well.

I love reading memoirs. Recently I got my hands on Gary Tubbs’ memoir “Taming the Dragon”. It is a book about one man’s journey through life as he faces discrimination and his own demons. The story is about the author Gary. Growing up, he always craved for his father’s approval. No matter what Gary does, his father doesn’t appreciate him. Gary even thought that he wasn’t the son his dad had dreamed of.

During his school years, he spent time with his friends and had different experiences with boys or girls. He spent his school years in self-doubt. Read this story to know what happens to him as he goes through a heart-wrenching divorce. It was interesting to read about Gary’s self-awakening. Read the book yourself to know how he accepted himself as perfectly imperfect and good enough.

I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. I appreciate the honesty of the author in this book. It is an insightful read. Gary’s journey is inspiring. Those who are having a difficult time accepting themselves should definitely get their hands on this book.

I am glad to know about June’s life events. Her story made me reflect on the time when God communicated to me through my dreams. Her story has inspired me to keep fighting for your dreams. June’s story also teaches us to move ahead in life in spite of the tragedies we face. It’s a book worth reading. Go ahead with it.

“Starvin’ Artist: Hunger for Success” is an inspirational memoir written by the author Anthony S. Waldren. Through this book, the author wants to remind the readers that our victories, failures, mistakes, loss, obstacles are the stepping stones to success.

In this book, the author has mentioned how his surroundings weren’t always positive when he was growing up. However, Anthony learned to find a silver lining in every cloud. He fits that in his mind that even the negative experiences teach us lessons so he learned from each experience in his life.

The story begins with a young boy feeling asleep in class because he couldn’t sleep at night due to gunshots. The drug dealers in the neighborhood taught Anthony about entrepreneurship. I appreciate the way the author learned to make the best of his surroundings.

“Your circumstances today are not your final destination.”

I felt so much inspired by the above line from the book. Even though the author faced many hardships in his life, he didn’t let negative surroundings or people shape him. The way he saw the good in the bad circumstances helped him to be the man he is today. This is a must read memoir especially by those who are stuck at wrong places. I am glad to read it. I strongly recommend it to my fellow readers.

Through this book, the author takes readers on the rollercoaster ride of her heavenly adventures. This is the story of a lost and broken woman who woke up to the voice of God and then became hungry for Father.

Katherine was born to parents who were not Christ-followers at that time. When she was 13 years old, her parents discovered Jesus. Katherine fell in love at first sight with Jesus at a church in London. At the church, she felt peace as if all the darkness within her was washed away. 

Throughout this book, the author has mentioned her personal encounters with Jesus. In December 2016, Katherine was ready to commit suicide. She cried out to God to save her and Jesus proved to be faithful. He showed her a vision that helped her to take steps towards healing.

While reading this book, the readers would find keys that will lead them into the heart of Jesus. The author has mentioned strongly that Jesus is the WAY MAKER, MIRACLE WORKER and PROMISE KEEPER. She has experienced the blessings of Jesus in her life and with his grace, Katherine has found her identity and purpose in life. This is a well written book that strengthens the faith of the readers in God. The title of the book is suitable according to the content.

Recently I got my hands on the book “Romeo & Julio & Friends” written by the author Leo C Akuwudike. The main characters of the story are Romeo and Julio. Julio has returned to London after seven years. He met his old friends. Poppy is one of his oldest friends. She is in a relationship with Romeo but Romeo doesn’t have the same feelings for her.

When Romeo saw Julio, sparks began to fly. Romeo was born in Britain. He is charming, confident and funny. When Romeo expressed his feelings for Julio, Julio told him that he can’t betray his friend Poppy. Read this story to know what will happen when Hassan, Julio’s ex-husband, comes back to London.

The story is written well. If you love reading LGBTQ romance novels then get your hands on this one. The pace of the story is fast and I enjoyed every bit of this book. The cover of the book is nice and the characters would stay in my head for a long time. Go ahead with this book without any second thoughts.

One day, Mr. Howard created two pocket watches: a silver one for himself and a brass one for his son. Howard’s wife Dolores took the two watches to Madam Genova so she can bless the two pocket watches with a good luck spell.

However, Madam Genova doesn’t have proper knowledge of spells. The spell backfired. She told Dolores that if the owners of the watches lose them then bad luck will follow. Read this book to know about the journey of the pocket watches.

This is a well written book. Those who love reading paranormal fiction should definitely read this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat as I read it. The cover photo of the book is attractive and the title couldn’t have been more appropriate. I strongly recommend this book to my fellow readers.

“The Double-Edged Sword” written by the author Christopher Turnbull is a must read. In this book, the author who is an experienced paramedic has shared his experiences in the emergency services. Paramedics have a career of saving strangers. They are expected to make things better for others but what happens when the caregiver needs care? Who is there for the paramedics at that time?

The author has mentioned about the first time he saw a child die. After that event, he wanted a listening ear so he could get it off his chest but he realized that he was alone in his feelings. The author has also shared his experience when he was the first time in charge of pronouncing a child. He mentioned the importance of having a solid support structure in the life of paramedics to back them in times of need. 

Christopher has also mentioned about the supervisors who care when the paramedics struggle. I like to recommend this book to everyone, especially the new paramedics. Before reading this book, the thought never came to my mind that the caregivers may also need care. This book has opened my eyes to the challenges the paramedics face. The author has advised the paramedics to check on their co-workers and provide them the support they may need. It is one of the best books that I have read. After reading this book, I am inspired to be more kind and caring. A well written book!
