“The Couple’s Counsel: A Story on The Journey Towards A Fulfilled Marriage” written by the authors Ikenna Ngene and Ijeoma Ngene is a must read book. Tom Jones and Liz are our guides on this journey. The book started with a couple Pete and Jane who kept on arguing with each other. They went to attend a couple’s retreat where they met other couples. Reading the introduction of all the couples was interesting.

When the couples argued, I realized how we let small things come in between our relationship, how the words of one could make the other angry, etc. This book gave me practical tips to take the relationship to another level. Since the author has explained the theory with the help of examples, I could connect well to it. All the couples are different and have different issues between them.

Read this book if you want to bring back the spark in your relationship. The description is so strong, I felt as if I was watching the couples working their relationship.

Being single with a desire to get married soon, I must say that I have got my hands on this book at the right time. This book is for married couples too as they can read it together to identify the areas of their marriage where they can make a change. It is an engaging read. I have mentioned important points from this book in my journal for future reference. Looking forward to reading more books by the author.

“Stop This Game: My Life with Bipolar Disorder” written by the author Jaka Tomc is an intriguing read. This is the story of the author who was declared bipolar in 2008. The author has shared about his daily struggles. He has explained the difference between hypomania and hypermania.

The author has mentioned how the problems that seemed bigger the previous day seem smaller the next morning. He felt a tingling sensation all over his body. Jaka was strapped to a hospital bed for eleven days as he was a danger to himself and others. When his girlfriend of five years broke up with him, he went into severe depression.

Jaka didn’t want to play the game anymore. That’s why he has titled the book “Stop This Game”. Read this book to know more about the reason behind this title and what game the author is talking about.

Those who love reading memoirs should definitely get their hands on it. I strongly recommend this book to everyone. I appreciate Jaka’s courage in sharing his story with the world. This book made me realize how things are for someone who is bipolar. It is an insightful book. This book widened my perspective. Jaka is inspiring to us because he isn’t angry about the disease. He is glad about the experiences and learnings he got as they have shaped him into the person he is today. A must read book!

“An Eighth Grade Gay Straight Alliance” written by the author Daniel Micko is an intriguing read. The main characters of the story are Sydney and Brooklyn Jennings. They are eighth graders. They both are muslims and go to the same mosque. Jennings is white whereas Sydney is black.

They grew up in Modesto, CA and life there isn’t easy. Jennings has come up with an idea of Gay Straight Alliance in which no adults or parents are allowed. She made the announcement in the class about the group. Their theme is ‘Bad girls in history’. Sydney thought that doing a project would give her a chance to get to know Jennings. Jennings is quite excited about her GSA. Jennings’ uncle killed one of her queer cousins because according to him the same sex relationship brings shame.

Read the story to know what happens next. The story involves a twist and the plot is unique. Those who enjoy reading lgtbq fiction should get their hands on it. The title of the book is nice and the cover photo is eye-catching. Add it to your tbr.

I agree with the author when she has mentioned that comparison is unhealthy for us.

This book takes the readers on a journey to discover their identity in Christ. The reflection questions given at the end of the chapters would help readers in self-discovery and self-awareness.

The author suggests readers read the biblical truths mentioned in this book each day in the morning. Also, readers should read this book with an open mind and should allow God’s words to transform them. Those who are into spirituality should definitely get their hands on this book. It’s a book worth reading. I had a great time reading this book. It could transform your life if you follow the practices mentioned in this book.

“Me No Pause, Me Play” written by the author Manoj Sharma is an interesting read. This book depicts the difficulties faced by women in today’s society. The main character of the story is Dolly, wife of Rajat Khanna. The couple has been married for a long time and Rajat wanted to spend his 30th marriage anniversary being intimate with his wife.

Dolly was the sufferer of the worst symptoms of menopause. Her health wasn’t well. Still Rajat wanted to be intimate with her. He attempted marital rape. When Dolly’s situation got worse, Rajat was frustrated as he was concerned about his office. He was expecting his kids to come to take care of his wife. His daughter requested him to change his behaviour and talk politely to Dolly.

Read the story to know what all difficulties Dolly faced. Will Rajat’s behaviour change? The story is gripping and it couldn’t move me from my seat. I enjoyed every bit of this book and had a great time reading it. Go ahead with it without any second thoughts.

Those who are seeking God can find it through the Bible. Mental illness can affect the person badly but God can help the person to heal. Get your hands on this book and get to know more about Jesus. This book will help you to heal. It gives a reminder to readers to not let mental illness control their lives.

This time, I got my hands on Vincent Hovorka’s book “From Failure To… The Property Journey”. It is an insightful book that gives practical advice to the readers. The author has given various examples from his own life to inspire readers to make their goal sheet and take action on it. I love it when Vincent has proudly written that he is an action taker. That statement made me realise that I always write my goals but I fail to take action on them.

This book shares many tips with the readers that would help them in building a successful business. The detailed information that the author has shared is helpful. I am grateful to him for explaining most of the things with his personal example. That way, I felt more motivated to know my why. Vincent inspires us to learn from successful people who are on a higher level.

This is the best book that I have picked this year. Those who love self-growth, personality development should read this book. It’s worth reading.

After reading the first two books in the Imryll’s Legacy book series, I was excited to get my hands on the third one: Imryll’s Exorcism.

The story is gripping from the first page itself. Imryll carries a sword with her. She is called the demonslayer or the Light Protector. Imryll genuinely wants to save the world. She is not doing it expecting a reward in return. King Caillok even offered a marriage between Imryll and his son Varnam. Imryll is leaving an impression on people wherever she is going.

The story is enjoyable. Those who love reading short stories should definitely get their hands on this one. Marc’s stories will stay in my mind for a long time. There is no doubt about that. Imryll’s Legacy book series is fantastic and I am happy to read the series.

Tashella is a humanoid. She has lived almost a full human life on Earth. She has learned many human things and has gained enough human knowledge. Tashella wants to save all the galaxies from all the universe. She discusses with the council to take help from Evelyn Alvarez. Tashella explained that instead of forcing Evelyn, she could request cooperation from her as they are friends. Read this story to know about Tashella’s further adventures.

The writing style of the author is nice and the book is written well. The story is well paced and I had a great time reading this book. The title of the story is suitable and the narration is smooth and strong.

If you love reading Sci-fi stories then you shouldn’t miss to get your hands on this book.
