There are very few books that have the power to hook the reader’s attention from the first page itself. “Mirrored Wounds” penned by Rebecca Christo is one such book. The main character of the story is Laura. Her friends Amy and Cassie forced her to set up a OneDates account. Laura met Paul Johnson from the dating website and liked him initially but later she found out that he is an alcoholic and she can’t bear him around.

When Paul entered Laura’s home, something unexpected happened. He stabbed Laura and was jailed for 10 years. For a fresh start, Laura moved to another city where she met and married Matt. After marriage, Laura wrote a book and it became a bestseller. What will happen when the plot of her novel becomes her reality?

The story is gripping and it kept me on the edge of my seat. The character of Laura is well written by the author. The writing style of Rebecca is easy to follow. This story made me forget the real world around me. I loved the story writing skills of the author. Rebecca has done great work in her debut book. Looking forward to reading more books by her in the future.
