Canvas of Time is the debut novel of the author Amélie Pimont. I have read romance books but this is the first one in which two lovers Sarah and Eli find each other across time.

In the first book, Story is about Sarah, a thirty years old woman from the planet Tyrakti and Eli, a botanist from planet Sake. Fate made them to meet each other at a dangerous planet Kambukta when the spaceship in which Sarah was there landed on Kambukta. Second book set in Thebes, Ancient Egypt where Sarah’s eyes fell on Eli’s when she saw him chained up with other slaves.

In Book 3, Sarah and Eli were born in the Manigault and Durand families. Their families had become neighboring farmers and wonderful friends since many years. Sarah and Eli developed a bond as they grew up next door. In Book 4, story is set in 2017 in Los Angeles, California. Sarah, a photojournalist for Amnesty International met Eli, an artist.

Find out more about this beautiful story by reading it yourself. Story is interesting. Cover of the book is simple yet decent. Language of the book is simple and easy to understand. The deep love that Sarah and Eli shares life after life is rare and especially in today’s modern times. The ending of the book is amazing. I really appreciate author’s vivid imagination in writing this story.

Story is written perfectly with beautiful illustrations. I narrated this story to my little niece and she loved it a lot. This magical tale is a perfect bedtime story. Kids will enjoy each and every page of this beautiful tale. I like the friendship of buddy and the wizard. This book gives a very important message. Find it yourself by reading this magical tale.

Releasing Her Power Within written by the author Madilynn Dale is the first book in the Fae Shifters series. Protagonist of the story is Liz who works as a physical therapy assistant. She loves what she do but by overworking, her stress level remains high. Liz has took off from work to travel to the state park with her friend Tiffany. After the visit to park, she went to check her grandmother’s cabin which is close to the park.

Liz’s mother Lyn Caster died an year ago due to breast cancer and she has left her this cabin in her will. Liz has memories of this Cabin when she was younger. Her dad left her mom before she was born so she doesn’t have any memory of her dad. Her mother’s old high school friend Trish helped Liz by boxing up her mother’s and grandmother’s stuff and placing it in an old library. Now, Liz is at the cabin library. She is unboxing all the boxes.

Liz met a guy Cameron whom she found attractive. Cam also felt an electrical attraction to Liz. When he visited Liz’s house as a game warden, he asked her for a date and he also offered an interview opportunity to Liz at his dad’s company.

This is an interesting story that is penned down well. Title of the book is suitable and cover photo is nice. Liz’s character is perfect written and the supporting characters are also nicely described. Pace of the novel is fine and I didn’t felt bored while reading it. I am definitely interested to read more work of Madilynn.

Newark Minutemen is a historical novel by the author Leslie K Barry. Story is set in 1930s when boxing was a popular sport in America. Jewish boxers were recruited by Mob King Longie Zwillman and trained by champion fighter Nat Arno to help the FBI fight a Hitler-shadow party of Nazis taking over America. These boxers are the Newark Minuteman. Longie Zwillman, a 34 years old man is the godfather of Newark, New Jersey. Yael’s father was murdered by Nazis in 1933 and his mother died after listening to the unfortunate news of his father’s death. Since then, Longie is the guardian of Yael and his brothers. Longie’s mobsters and the FBI formed an unholy alliance to plug Hitler from seeing his budding Nazi army in America.

As the story progresses, Yael meets Krista Brecht who is the daughter of German-American Nazi high command. As he shook hands with her, he could feel the current running through him.
Axel Von du Croy, son of Von du Croy from Germany announced about getting married to Krista. Krista herself was unaware of this. She is attending Camp Siegfried, a German Bund Camp in Long Island. A Nazi with a Jew definitely gonna be a trouble. Read this story to know what happens in the story next.

Leslie must have done vast research before writing this book. Although it’s a lengthy novel and took me much time to finish but it is worth reading. If you are interested in history to know more about the wars and the tensions between two countries, you couldn’t put this book down. I wasn’t aware about this part of American history. Book is written very well. Cover of the book looks nice and title is apt.

The Standing Cemetery by the author Jack Sloat is a short story. Story highlights an old half-orc warrior who was in his last adventure. He fought a white dragon and as the long fight ended, only the warrior stood. Warrior went to the ceremonial resting place along with his three children. They saw plant like creature mossling and vine.

Agitha then comes into the story. She offered a beverage to the warrior’s family. She handed over a brass stein with honey-gold liquid to the warrior. After drinking it, the warrior felt young again. Then they met Lady Matilda, a shadow who has started the cemetery. Since it’s a short story so I won’t reveal much of the story. Grab this book and enjoy the story yourself.

Language of the book is lucid. Cover is nice. Title is according to the story. Storyline is unique and involves not only humans but dragon, human-orc, mosslings, etc. I like to recommend this book to fantasy lovers. It was a short and quick read that you can read in a single sitting.

The Organized Thinker by the author Lesley Geller is a self help book. This book is for those who wish to be an organized person but finds it difficult to follow a routine. First step to think like an organized person is that we need a sweet spot. We need to put our phone down for some time. Best quality possessed by an organized person is that they keep the stress level low and productivity high. They don’t look at their to-do-list as another job. Real Planning helps a lot in making our day successful. With a plan set, we can focus on our original goal.

Making plans is just not enough, we need to get busy in the doing part to get closer to success. Chapter 7 gave a wonderful advice that first we need to secure the base. We can secure wealth later. But the problem with most of us is that we can’t have that much patience and as a result, we give up in the middle. This book made me realized that it’s time I should stop procrastinating and stop pressing the snooze button in the morning. I felt so relatable to many incidents mentioned in the book. Author has used her life incidents as an analogy so readers can understand her point better.

This book is so useful that I was looking for something like it to read from a long time. It’s not too lengthy. One could read it in a single sitting or two. Make sure that you sit with a diary and pen with you so you can write important points in your journal.

I like to recommend this book to readers of all ages. It is written in a simple language so even beginners can read it easily. Lesley has shared many useful tips in this book and I am sure that everyone will find something useful for them in this book.

Protagonist of the story is a fifteen years old teenager Eric Daniels who lives in Iowa with his dad as his mom ran away years ago and didn’t return. Eric is a fat boy and due to this everyone keeps on teasing him. Finally it’s summer break and a perfect opportunity for Eric to lose weight. Eric used to play basketball daily and he avoided junk food so he can lose some weight.

One day, Eric and his dad’s life turned upside down as the house in which they were living got burnt. Eric’s dad tried to find a local job but he couldn’t get any. They shifted to a cheap hotel room but when they ran out of money, they moved to Freeport, IL. Eric’s dad’s friend, the Garcia offered a room to stay and job to his dad. His childhood friend Nate Garcia is of the same age as Eric and in their childhood they have enjoyed together a lot.

Later, Nate introduced Eric to the two girls Melissa and Jen. Nate has a huge crush on Jen. Eric was astonished to talk to girls as earlier in Iowa since he was fatty, girls only used to make fun of him. Melissa invited Jen, Nate and Eric to their home at night. Since Melissa was sleeping, Jen leads Nate and Eric back up Greenfield Street. They hopped into the car and went out to have some fun at night. Title is apt and according to the story. I liked the writing style of the author and the chapter names for each chapter is so relevant and gave a little idea what we gonna read about in that chapter. I enjoyed every bit of this novel. Ryan has done great work in his debut novel and I am definitely interested to read more of his work in the future.

I strongly recommend this to my fellow readers especially who love reading YA fiction.

The self evaluation exercise given after the chapters will help women to analyze their relationship and improve the mistakes that they have made earlier. This book is very inspiring for those women who feel that they are in the dark place and it is difficult for them to pull themselves out. They just have to take some advice from a friend or any professional help and not stay in an abusive relationship.

The way this book is written in pink and black background and text colors made this book very girly and I liked that. The quotes mentioned in the book are very inspiring. Language of the book is easy to understand and cover photo is nice. It is a short read that one could finish in a single sitting. You can also keep a journal with you while reading this book so you can pen down important points in your personal diary.

The Guilty Pieces is the first book that I have read written by the author C.G Miller. Protagonist of the story is an adult girl Brecklund Avery. It’s her 21st birthday and her big brother Evans insisted to take her out. Breck and Evans share a beautiful siblings bond. They fight like Tom and Jerry sometimes but they love each other. Evans is protective, comforting, annoying and irritating just the way brothers are. They went to the bar.

After celebrating at bar, when they were on the way to home, Breck saw her Dad’s car outside Mrs.Kavinsky’s house. Evans knocked the door of Mrs Kavinsky and caught his dad red-handed. As Evans, his dad and Breck were going to their home, a life changing event happened in Avery’s family. Three days later, when Breck woke up in the hospital, she wasn’t feeling peaceful. Title of the story couldn’t have been better than this. Cover of the book is relevant. Language of the book is simple and even beginners can enjoy this story. I love reading fantasy novels therefore I picked the novel “Sentinals Awaken” written by Helen Garraway. Story is set in the Kingdom of Vespiri. Crown Prince Kharel told Jerrol Haven that he is under arrest for treason. Prince told him that for plotting against the Crown and Administration, Jerrol is going to be executed.

Jerrol escaped from the cell and from the Old Vespers to be alive. He made it to Greenswatch and he woke up outside a cave. He saw Lady Leyandrii, the deity worshipped by at least three of the four kingdoms of Remargaren. Lady told him that the Ascendants grow bold and they are back to finish the deed. Sentinals Awaken is the first book in the series. I found the story gripping and I couldn’t put this book down until I finished it. Cover photo of the book looks nice and the title is according to the story. Even though the story is little lengthy but it was worth my time. I am interested to read the second book Sentinal Rising in the series.
