Yugantar: The Dream of Bharatavarsha Takes Shape 2300 Years Ago is a historical fiction written by the author Raghavan Srinivasan. This book is set in 4th century BCE and is written in two parts: The gathering storm and the storm. It takes readers on the journey of the ancient India.

Map of mahajanapadas and trade routes also makes reader more aware about ancient India. Knowing about the period of 4th century BCE by reading this book is a great experience. It is about the time where opportunities and dangers were equal in Bharatavarsha. Reading about the situation in Ujjayini was a great experience.

Key actors and glossary given at the end of the book helped me to understand the book better. Cover photo is eye catchy and language of the book is simple. I am sure author must have done vast research to write this novel. Those who are interested in reading historical fiction should go ahead with this. It’s an insightful read.

I love reading poetry books. Recently I read “GypsySoul: A bundle Of Soulful Poems” penned down by the author Sumitra Biswal. In this anthology, author has expressed her emotions in the form of poems. This book is a collection of eighteen soulful poems written in a simple language.

These poems are thought provoking and they soothe the soul. Readers could easily connect to the poems. Poems are based on different topics like Crossroads, Desire, Inside Out, etc.

I coul very well relate myself mostly to the poem Desire. Author’s writing style is constant. All the poems are aligned in the centre.

If you want to try reading poetry, pick this book. Enjoy this soulful read with a cup of coffee by sitting in your balcony.

I love reading self help books because I want to be more and more aware of myself. I am glad to get my hands on this book because it is according to my reading taste. In this author’s focus is on telling readers to take the journey within themselves.

In today’s so called modern world, people just follow the pattern that is set in front of them. It’s time for us to not follow the pattern, instead we should focus on becoming more and more self-aware. That is the way only that we can free ourselves and the world from the crisis.

This is an informative spiritual read. Since length of the book is just 40 pages, I was able to finish it in a single sitting. Author has mentioned great thoughts in this book. Cover photo of the book is simple with an easy use of language. Narration is strong and smooth. I like to recommend this book to other readers.

“Shape Your Thinking” by Shashank Mutneja is a self help book. This book involves various examples of famous personalities. They believe in thinking big. Quality is what matters to them and not the quantity. The idea is to focus on your thoughts.

Book is written in five chapters that tells readers about simple living, knowing IQ, EQ, etc, role of Dharma, when to speak and when to stay quiet, to keep faith in God. What I loved about this book is the “Points to Remember” and decision taking lessons from Bhagavad Gita.

This is a kinda book from which readers will take away something for sure. It’s a promising read. I like author’s writing style. Narration is smooth and simple. Since author has used simple language in the narration, I was easily able to follow all the concepts and understood them. This book stands true to its title. It will definitely help readers in shaping their thinking.

It is an engaging read. Kids will enjoy the quiz given at the end of the book. Glossary given at the end will help kids to learn the meaning of some new words. It is a nice effort by the author to make kids aware about the famous African personalities. Illustrations are wonderful and I like to recommend this book to little readers.

Reading about Tony’s character and eating disorder made this book really interesting. His character felt real and so believable. Cover photo of the book is nice and author’s writing style is amazing. Written in first person, this is kinda novel that you won’t feel like putting aside once you start reading it. I like to recommend it to my friends. It’s a worth reading book.

Selena lost her mother at an early age and when she was eleven years old, she lost her father too. Rowan was born up High and he belongs to the inner circle of Jerome. Rowan was different from the people up High were. He had always loved the Slums. Rowan is a guardian. He was enchanted with Selena when he saw her for the first time. Grab a copy of this novel to find out will their love be more powerful or the rules of Sanctuary? Who are Caleb and Cole and where are they?

Story is refreshing and the plot is intense. Most of the time I read simple love stories but this one is a forbidden romance. I kept on getting curious to know the story further as I turned pages after pages. There are many side characters also in the story. Who is Troy? Does he have any relationship with Selena? Read this promising story to know more. I am sure it won’t disappoint you.

Falling in the trap of loves of likes on social media is a waste of time. This book also guides us to be around someone from whom we can learn. This is the best way to learn. Showing off on social media won’t help us to grow in real life. Social media can even cause depression if not used rightly.

This book has opened my eyes also. I also had the love of likes once but it had decreased. After reading this book, I have decided to use social media in a limited manner and work on my offline personality so I can do better in real life.
