Aunt Tricia took really good care of Priscilla. But sometimes Priscilla finds herself in the situations where she needs to take decision that are too big as compared to her age. Priscilla kept on making wrong decisions one after the another. Find out how her life gonna be affected with all that. Cover photo of the book is amazing showing Priscilla. Language used in the book is easy to understand. Writing of Jerome is smooth. This story is unique. Sometimes my heart felt heavy full of emotions and at other times I found myself enjoying the story and getting involved deeper and deeper in Priscilla’s journey.

Zhu’s family had a bean curd shop and the product quality attracted many faithful customers in Ferry Village but one unfortunate event made his family to lose their shop. Zhu’s family had to leave their place and later they had to face many struggles then to survive. A plague that swept through China destroyed livelihood and families. Now, Zhu is left alone. He joins a Buddhist monastery and is on a path to find the Ming Dynasty.

This book is written beautifully and the detailed descriptions made it a captivating one. Cover photo of the book is nice and it kept me on the edge of my seat. It’s a gripping story and you won’t be able to put down this novel once you will start reading it. I enjoyed every bit of this novel and is now looking forward to read next book by Laurie.

“The Dragon From Guangzhou” is the historical fiction written by the author DW Plato. Story is set in the beginning of nineteenth century. The seas surrounding China and South East Asia are ruled by the ruthless pirates. Story features Mógū, a woman pirate. This book takes us on her adventurous journey. She was given up by her mother and went to orphanage nuns. The part where Zheng Yi fell in love with her and kidnaps her intrigued me the most.

How Mógū’s life will change after becoming the wife of famous pirate? Unveil it yourself by reading this novel. Length of the book is 213 pages so one could read this novel in a single sitting. Cover photo is nice. Mógū’s character is quite interesting and I enjoyed reading about it.

DW Plato’s writing is amazing. Her story has the power to hook the readers till the last page. I liked the ending of the story. It’s a worth reading novel if you love reading stories involving history, battles, etc.

Story begins from the year 1979 and features Mo’destee Vert living in Senegambia with her family. When Africans were captured and taken to America as slaves, Modesty was called by a man that she is a girl and he could make her a woman. She is now known as Modesty Greene.

Mo’destee befriends Ethel, Robert Bank’s daughter. With the new crop going in, Robert bought three men and Mo’destee. Robert told Ethel that she is innocent but these slaves should know who the real boss is. Grab a copy of this novel to find out what difficulties Mo’destee has to face.

This is a great story that has mature as well as sensitive content. Story involves history, rape, torture, slavery, freedom, etc. This story is riveting and hooked me in it. If stories involving history are of your interest then this is a great fiction to pick. Story is told from multiple POVs and characters are well written. It’s a great fiction and would be a great addition to your bookshelf.

Story features Luc Fortesque who is under an Interpol Red Notice. He knows about the terrorist plot that has the power to put the world under huge threat and it can incriminates the Holy See also. Isn’t it strange how knowledge of something could put you in danger and sometimes can also cost you your life. One of the oldest espionage agencies in the world were closing on him.

On the other hand, Raymond Garrett has taken a difficult job in his hand i.e. to bring down El Fantasma. But El Fantasma desired to unite the fragmented drug operations run by paramilitary groups. Grab a copy of this book and get to know whether Luc and Raymond get successful in achieving anything?

The story is full of action all the time with a fast pace. I couldn’t put this book aside once I began to read it.

Even though it’s a part of series but can be read as a standalone also.
If you are a fan of adventure thrillers then this one you couldn’t miss at all. Language of the book is medium. Cover photo is nice. Writing style of author is professional and I enjoyed reading this.

Tom was in the middle of a conference call when he received a phone call from Detective Skaryd informing him that his sister Nina Ruiz is dead. Tom’s world turned upside down immediately. He reached to his sister’s condo in Clearwater. Soon, Tom’s wife Gabi also joined him.

When Tom and Gabi went to meet Nina’s attorney for the will, Tom found out that Nina wanted her funeral to be out of the box. She wanted Tom to execute her funeral with a woman named Sarah. By reading Nina’s journal entries, Tom realized that he didn’t know his sister that much even though he was under the impression that they share everything.

Since the novel has some journal entries, I enjoyed it even more. This is a great story for light reading. After a long time I have got hands on an amazing story.

After a light stroke, McKay observed the reports of Ira but he just agreed with what Dr Briggs suggested. After few days, Eliot’s father was admitted again to the hospital. Dr Ash and Dr Briggs are suggesting different things to West family. Read this story to dig deeper why the patients are dying?

Cover photo of the book showing police officer’s badge, reporter’s notebook, doctor’s syringe, etc looks amazing. Title of the book is appropriate. Language used in the book is simple to understand. My interest in the story developed after few pages. Some descriptions could have been shorter. Character of Dr Briggs is interesting and unexpected. Storyline is intriguing and I was curious to know what gonna happen next until I reached the last page.

“Robinson, IL and Other Flash Fiction Stories” is the first book that I have read penned by the author Dennis Milam Bensie. This book introduced me to the meaning of flash fiction.

I really enjoyed the Kiddie pool story when little Denny pee in the pool wearing a pink swimsuit. The way author has put words in this story made me felt like I am reading it directly from the heart of a kid.

Sunday Drive is another interesting story highlighting father’s realization later to punish the one who molested his son fifteen years ago. Molestation could fill rage in a kid that may stay with him as years passes by.

I enjoyed reading “The Miller Family Reunion” in which the family met Denny’s new wife Julia and one of his cousin Jeremiah travelled on his bike from Chicago to surprise his parents.

All the flash fiction stories that are part of this book are worth reading. There are so many characters in this book. One could enjoy couple of flash fiction stories in one go in their short breaks. Author’s writing style is amazing and I enjoyed reading this book overall. Language used in the book is straightforward and easy to understand. Since length of the book is 130 pages only, one could also read it in a single or two sittings. Go ahead with it without thinking twice. I am sure you will enjoy it.

Once when Rattler was flying over the Persian Gulf, he saved the crew by landing the broken E-2C Hawkeye safely. Clipper who is Rattler’s number two guy was happy to see Rattler safe. He helped a lot with the landing. Later, Clipper told Rattler that there is something wrong with the skipper. He didn’t give Rattler a flying cross for his historic act because he didn’t get one himself. As the story progresses, the danger increases. The failure of hydraulic system was just the beginning.
