Burning Hope penned by the author Wendy Roberts is the first installment in A Red Hooper Mystery Book series. Scarlet Joan Hooper has recently moved to Hope Harbor. She has been on the road living in her camper van since her nan died.

Scarlet aka Red works at the Pincher’s Dollarama store. On her day-off, she visited the store quite early and found the body of a co-worker Murray there. Scarlet informed about the murder to the police. Since Scarlet is a newbie in the town, she was the suspect. Read this story to know will Scarlet be able to find the actual killer.

Story is intriguing. Writing style of Wendy is amazing. The cover photo of the book is well designed. Pace of the story is fast and I wasn’t bored anytime while reading it. I enjoyed every bit of this book. Those who enjoy reading murder mystery should get their hands on this book.

“The Branch That I am” penned by the author Mary Grace van der Kroef is a poetry book. It consists of poems of faith.

My favorite poem from the collection is Raining. Below are some lines from it:
Are God’s tears
in the rain?
I thought I felt
them there again.

I felt the heavy weight
of grief,
in the drops, also relief.
I thought I felt
a healing pain,
wounds cleansed,
infections drained.

Poems contain rhyming words. Language used in the poems is lucid. So, even if you aren’t an avid poetry reader, you would be able to understand it. Through this book, the author wants to tell the readers that faith is an eternal journey. It keeps on growing. These poems have questions, answers, hope, faith, restoration, prayers, etc.

I really appreciate the title of this book. Cover photo is attractive. I am glad to read “My Journey with God”. The way Mary’s prayers were answered in the form of her husband, may God answer everyone’s prayers. This book has increased my belief in God. I enjoyed reading this poetry collection and would like to recommend it to other poetry lovers. It will take you on a rollercoaster ride full of emotions.

Urenna was in a relationship with Kunle’s brother Jide. One day Jide called her and ended the relationship. Kunle once saw Urenna on the road. Since the weather was bad, he offered her a lift and later had to take her to his home. Because of bad weather and Urenna’s health, she stayed at Kunle’s place for a few days. When Urenna was going to her home, on the way Kunle saw his ex. To make her jealous, he kissed Ure. When Ure came to know the reason behind kissing, she punched Kunle in the face.

Now, after one year at a new company Eureka, Kunle is her boss. Read this story to find out will Kunle and Ure be able to work together without getting personal?

Storyline is interesting. Narration is smooth and I was able to follow the story easily. Cover photo of the book looks lovely. Pace of the story is fast and I wasn’t bored anytime while reading this story. I enjoyed every bit of this. Writing style of the author is flawless. Characters are interesting and written very nicely. Go ahead with this book without any second thoughts.

When Kalum entered the modern world, everything seemed new to him.

He couldn’t understand technology, the internet and the modern phrases that humans now use. Kalum met Genevieve. Even though she is a human, Kalum’s power didn’t work on her. Her thoughts were barred to him. When Genevieve invited him to her house, he got attracted to her. When a professor named Ray introduced Kalum to Cindy, Kalum said he wasn’t interested in her. Kalum knows he feels for Genevieve even though he doesn’t accept it. Read this story to know what happens next.

Writing style of the author is nice. Language used in the book is lucid and I was able to follow the story easily. Plot of the story is interesting. Pace of the novel is fast and I couldn’t put it down until I finished reading it. Those who love paranormal romance novels should get their hands on this one. The book will be released in June.

The secrets, twists and turns in the story made it more interesting. Storyline is unique and I liked the idea of Dire’s Club. Find out the challenges the Diers had to face. Writing style of the author is nice. Characters are written well. Please be advised that the story has sensitive content based on dying. This book will take the readers on an emotional rollercoaster ride. I enjoyed reading it.

Emmie has two children with her. Three years old girl named Grace and an eight years old boy named Charlie are in an isolated ruin with Emmie. Is any danger lurking there? Will Scott try to find Emmie again?

Read this story for yourself to unveil the suspense. The secrets, twists and turns in the story made it an interesting read. The story kept me on the edge while I was reading it. “Heart of a Warrior Angel: From Darkness to Light” is the most recent book that I have read penned by the author Lali A Love.

The main character of the story is Lilac Nobolashvili. She had always avoided talking about her childhood memories. But now Lilac’s daughters have grown up so she thought that her daughters would be able to understand her past.

Lilac is a daughter of Mira and Dragan. Dragan’s family was surrounded by dark and negative energy. When Dragan met Mira, he saw it as an opportunity to start a fresh life. Soon, they got married and when Mira was sixteen, Lilac was born. Dragan abandoned her family and returned to them after 2 years. Dragan physically harmed Lilac. It is heartbreaking to read about Dragan’s temper and outbursts.

If you enjoy reading supernatural thrillers then don’t miss to get your hands on this amazing book. Lali’s storytelling skills are amazing. The story is gripping and it teaches readers about self-love, self-discovery, self-healing, etc. Cover photo of the book is well designed. I loved every bit of this book. My favorite poem from the collection is: Tell Me You Love Me

Some other favorite poems of mine from the collection are: Love, Lonely Heart, Solitude, Don’t Call Don’t Seek, etc.

This book also contains stories based on true stories. Anita travelled from Moscow and landed at New York airport. She spent her first night in America. At the airport, she noticed the African American people. She was invited to America by her relatives.

This book is full of different emotions and stories. I enjoyed the writing style of the author. Liana has done wonderful work in this book. Cover photo of the book could have been better. Narration is smooth and readers would definitely enjoy reading this book. Language used is lucid and easy to understand.

Sounds Like Love is a light-hearted fiction penned by the author Laura Ford. Main character of the story is Wendy. Her grandmother has recently passed away so Wendy visited her house to collect a box of keepsakes which had been left for her. At her grandma’s house, Wendy noticed that along with the keepsakes, a cat was also there.

Wendy is not a cat person. She was furious. Grandma was like a second mother to Wendy. Her parents were busy taking their pedigree cats to compete in cat shows all over the country. Wendy even called her father so she can convince her parents to take the cat permanently but her parents refused saying they already have Martha and Kiki, their show cats. Also, her mother is unwell. Wendy then took the cat to the Loving Hearts Animal Sanctuary but they were full and couldn’t keep the cat. Wendy finally took the cat home with her. Read this story to find out what adventure awaits Wendy.

I enjoyed reading the story. Wendy’s character is interesting. Writing style of the author is impressive and the narration is smooth. This story kept me hooked till the last page. Pace of the story is fast and I wasn’t bored anytime while reading this novel. If you are looking for a book for light reading then this would be the perfect pick.

Sounds Like Love

British Marine Engineer penned by the author Liana Margiva is a collection of poems and stories.

Sleepless Nights is my favorite from the collection. It’s an emotional heart-touching story about a lover who is missing her lover and is having sleepless nights without him. The lover is asking for a favor from insomnia to visit her loved one and tell him how miserable she is without him. I could relate to this story as I myself had sleepless nights earlier in my life.

The British Engineer is about Douglas and Lorena. Douglas was a marine engineer who worked under contract near the Atlantic Ocean. When Douglas addressed Lorena as his best friend ever, his words touched her deeply. This is a wonderful read.

I enjoyed reading Liana’s work. I appreciate the storytelling skills of the author. Those who love reading stories and poetry should check Liana’s work. Written in approx 100 pages, one could read this book in two sittings. I loved the cover photo of the book and the title is also suitable.
