“CAREFUL WHAT YOU PREY FOR” is the second novel penned by the author Jodaea Minor-White. Story is set in Barrett’s Cove. Vivian Washington is the Barrett County Prosecutor. When the former prosecutor, Lance MacMillan died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack, Vivian immediately got the job and soon she won the heart of everyone.
Another important character Adrian Porter was a new transfer to the BC from the Wake County police department. When Vivian saw him at the gym, he immediately won her heart but Adrian is married and don’t like Vivian approaching her but according to Vivian she isn’t married so she can do whatever she wants. Grab a copy of this novel and find out what happens next in the story.
Story setting is interesting. Plot of the story is gripping. Cover photo is nicely designed and title of the book is appropriate. Language of the novel is lucid so I was easily able to follow the story. Author has well written each and every character and overall I enjoyed reading this book.
“RAE’S CONEY ISLAND BIRTHDAY SURPRISE” is an interesting Children’s Book written by the author Jem T. Hughes and illustrated by S. Dey. Story features Rae who is both excited and nervous as she planned some birthday surprise for her best friend Dez. Rae and Dez are going to Coney Island via metro for Dez’s birthday party. They talked about all of the fun things that they want to do when they get to Coney Island but on the way the metro came to a halt.
Grab a copy of this book and find out yourself will Rae be able to give surprise to Dez? Little readers will be amazed to see what Rae has planned for her friend Dez and how will she surprise her? Storyline of the book is very interesting. Kids will definitely love this story as the metro ride is full of fun and surprises. Xavier Wilson has recently got a big contract with prestigious firm of Williams, Greene, and Dunbar, Attorneys at Law in Washington, DC. Xavier is 35 years old but he is not yet married. He lives in a five bedroom lavish house as he is already future ready. He wants his marriage to be a long-lasting one so he is looking for a partner that has the qualities of his mother.
At the office, when Xavier’s eyes fell on Phenice Gordon, he immediately was attracted to her. One day when Xavier went out with his friend Roc, Roc introduced him to his girl Kathi who has brought Miss Gordon with her so she can introduce her to Xavier. But they were surprised to know that they already know each other. Both Phenice and Xavier are attracted to each other but mixing up professional and personal life is not a good idea. Jodaea’s storylines are nicely written and they fits my reading taste totally. Youth of today enjoy reading such stories. Even though Sunday Christians is the debut book of the author but it doesn’t feel so. Jodaea has done great work in this novel. Cover photo of the book looks eye catchy and title is suitable. I am an American author and poet, most known for my Mike Check column. Over the years, I have done dozens of celebrity interviews, as well as hundreds of music reviews. The weekly Mike Check column, which appears in Strange Reaction, and the very popular Deep Red Magazine. I have had the pleasure of meeting people from all over the world just because we have this amazing technology on the internet.
I was an original member of the early Los Angeles punk rock scene, which is what I write about. It was an exciting time and I am lucky to have been able to meet so many of the bands I was a fan of as a teenager. I was a member of several bands myself and later a popular flier illustrator for others.

Q2. What were the key challenges you faced while writing ‘Born Frustrated’ book?
The challenge was to write something as interesting as the previous two books, Last One To Die and Life Won’t Wait. They had a certain feeling and atmosphere that the last book in the trilogy had to continue. After writing two previous novels, I could feel my writing style shifting and changing.
Q3. What books or authors have most influenced your own writing?
Well, I don’t know how influenced I’ve been by them, but I’m a fan of Eddie Little, Jim Carroll, and Dan Fante. I think I am drawn to writers that take the same approach as I do in that the technical aspects aren’t as important as storytelling. Raw and unfiltered writing that speaks to the reader on a personal level,
Q4. What’s your favourite spot to visit in your own country? And what makes it so special to you?
I would have to say Hawaii. I have visited the beautiful islands twice, one of them being my honeymoon, and it speaks to me. I think any place that involves the ocean would be where I want to go. It’s one of the wonderful things about living in Los Angeles where the ocean is a short drive away.
Q5. Is there lots to do before you drive in and start writing a book?
There is preparation that goes into starting a new book. I figure out if I’m going towards fiction or nonfiction. That decision comes from what type of story I feel like telling. An idea for a fiction story could have been ruminating in my mind for months before it decides it wants to be told. From there, I might outline roughly how the story will go, if it is fiction. My nonfiction books just flow without much of an outline, but I do try to keep them within the same theme. Once I’ve written the first chapter or story, the books seem to flow.
Q6. How long did it take you to write ‘Life Won’t Wait’ book?
About two years. I had completed and published Last One To Die in 2011. It sold very well, so I jumped into the second book, Life Won’t Wait immediately. Once I completed it, I handed it off to my proofreader and editor and they felt it didn’t have the same punch as LOTD. So, rather than editing it, I dumped the whole thing and started over. I published Life Won’t Wait in 2013 and am still very pleased with the outcome.

Q8. Tell us about the process of coming up with the cover and the title of your books?
In the beginning, I took titles from songs I like. Mostly from the band Rancid. The covers have been various photographers I like. A few have been photos taken by my wife and one or two from legendary rock photographer Edward Colver.
Q9. When writing a book how do you keep things fresh, for both your readers and also yourself?
I don’t really take freshness into consideration. I mostly write about what I want to write about. If I think too much about what everyone will like, my writing loses what makes me the storyteller I am. I think my faithful readers that have been with me from the start would notice the difference as well. They read and enjoyed my books for my particular style and take on storytelling. That being said, I have tried different things such as, co-authoring with other writers and collaborating. In fact, there are stories in two of my fiction books that my teenaged son contributed. He is turning out to be extremely creative and can come up with a whole tale on the spot.
Q10. Are there any secrets from the book (that aren’t in the blurb), you can share with your readers?
Hmm, if I told you it wouldn’t be a secret! Kidding aside, I suppose the biggest secret, that people probably want to confirm, is that every single story is absolutely true and without embellishment for the sake of making it better. All the crazy moments and characters and situations you might have thought “I wonder if that really happened”? The secret is yes. Yes, it happened and it happened exactly the way I described.

Hello world, my name is Sonny G! I’m a free spirit Latino, and a Jersey boy at heart. I’m a horror lover, proud Wiccan, podcaster and all around creative. I also hope to leave a small footprint in the horror genre.
Q2. When did you first realize you wanted to be an author?
I started writing in the fourth grade, but I was more into films and creating them. Screenwriting then became my focus from middle school all the way through college. It wasn’t until maybe my second year that I realized I enjoyed writing short stories and the passion started from there.
Q3. From where did you have the idea/inspiration to write your debut book “Death of a Final Girl”?
The original idea was completely different from the final product. It was going to be an anthology based on unsolved murders and I was going to create my own reasoning to what I thought happened. That all changed though when I was reading through the outline and realized this is a series. From there, I combined what I already had and created the world of Devil’s Den. I really wanted this book to be a representation of me as a writer and horror films are a big part of my life. I wanted to create one book that wasn’t just a horror movie but a franchise altogether.
Q4. What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
When I’m not writing, I’m working on my podcast: Stoney Horror, watching movies, having adventures with my people or creating content for our IG page. Oh, and I also love cooking! It’s very relaxing and I enjoy feeding others.
Q5. What is the most difficult part of your journey as an author?
Aside from finishing the book…. One of most difficult parts for me since I’m an independent author is figuring out the business all on my own. I was luckily enough to go to an art school and learn some of the ropes there, but real life isn’t like school. Also not having a mainstream team behind you is difficult when it comes to advertising or just getting your work out there to the right people.
Q6. What is your favorite Quote?
It’s probably corny but my favorite quote is from one of my favorite shows.

Q7. Do you believe in ghosts?
Yes, I do. I am very spiritual and have seen weird stuff, but those are stories for another kind interview.
Q8. What do you hope your readers take away from your book?
This book is defintley catered to the horror fans, but anyone can enjoy it. It’s something you can finish before bed, while traveling, or even out by the pool. Aside from the horror references and themes I hope the readers can take away the female empowerment. A horror franchise is as good as its Final Girl, so I hope my final girls fit that mold. But for the most part I hope the readers are just entertained. I wanted this book to be a fun, intense, fast-read.
Q9. Do you read or write daily?
I write almost every day and if I’m not writing I’m thinking of an idea to write. When it comes to reading though, I do it for research compared to it being a hobby. Like I said before I am a little screenwriter at heart.
Q10. Lastly, do you want to give any advice to readers and aspiring writers?
Hm, I would say never give up, the hardest thing is always finishing your work. Write every day even if it’s just little notes in your phone. Lastly, network, network, and network. Sometimes it is who you know, but not only that, networking helps you meet other amazing artists. You can build great relationships with them and eventually collaborate and help each other flourish. It doesn’t always have to be a competition.

In this book, author has talked about ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and the Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder with which David was diagnosed
in 2018.
David with an overcharged mind and an overactive imagination migrated with his family from Scotland to Canada. His dad was workaholic and alcoholic. His mum once caught him taking cookie and got frustrated. David once spent a night behind bars but he met Jesus there. Author has shared about various events of his life including his final placement as a parish priest.
If you are comfortable reading books that has mature content then go ahead with this book. Author has expressed his viewpoint in this book very openly and that is reflected well in his writing. “Tales of the Lost Horizon” is a collection of short stories and poetry written by the author Michael Eging. One of my favourite among the collection is Splendor from which some of the lines are below:
TThe bloody marred blade lays nak’d upon a rock. The knight, armor battered, fallen not far off. His hands outstretched, still in death he grasps for that familiar hilt. Warrior’s noble horse calls up on the hill. There is no one to answer, no one who ever will.
I enjoyed reading “From Beyond The Grave” also the most. In this story, a sealed coffin was coming from New York to Cleveland. It has the body of Craig’s wife. He wanted to spend more time with his wife. But she had run off and returned in a box.
This book is a collection of total eighteen pieces. Featured artists list show the various artists who has contributed to this book. For the first time, I have came across a book that has more than 2 artists. Eging’s work is deep and is recommended for avid readers. His writing style is nice and I enjoyed reading the poetry and short stories by him.
“The Zima Confession” is a political thriller written by the author Iain M. Rodgers. The story is set in different time at different places. Main character of the story is Richard. Richard had a nightmare about a snake and he was awake now. When he opened his inbox, he saw an email mentioning that his colleague Andy Mitchell was dead.
Richard remembered Andy mentioning about the debt he was in and how bitch his wife was. In Helsinki, Mitchell told some secret to Richard but Richard is unable to recollect the details. It might be something related to Zima. He thought has Mitchell really told him something or is it just his imagination. Grab a copy of this book and find out yourself what will happen when different agents and experiments get associated with the Zima unravel.
Plot of the story is amazing and hooked me to the story. Language of the book is lucid and easy to follow. Cover photo is nice. I loved author’s imagination in creating a great storyline. Characters are well written and the way suspense is maintained in the story made me enjoy this book more.
Romilla written by the author Luella White is an interesting story. Story is set in the the grand city of Asterbury. Story features the wealthy Vrana family. Shandar Vrana is not as rich as his younger brother Master Halvard. Halvard’s son Sullivan spends more time in his uncle’s company as compared to his dad. Halvard wants his son to be responsible and Intelligent but Shandar wants his nephew to have a good and adventurous life.
When Halvard was a little boy, he ran from Nalia. But now, Nalia has sent two creatures Petimus and Verdorben in search of Halvard. Nalia needs him. When Petimus finally found Halvard, Halvard was trembling to see him. Grab a copy of this novel and find out yourself what gonna happen with the Vrana family.
Storyline is interesting. It kept me on the edge of my seat. Cover photo is nice. Language of the book is lucid so it was easy for me to follow the entire story. World building is interesting and involve the presence of different types of creatures in the story. Writing style of Luella is impressive. It’s a perfect story for weekend reading.
The Criminal Mind is a Serial Killer Suspense Thriller penned by the author Thomas Benigno. It is the third installment in The Good Lawyer Series. Story features an old veteran Charlie Malone on his wheelchair. He lives in a center for veterans with disabilities on Eighth Avenue in Manhattan, New York. One day when he was on Eighth Avenue, he met a teenager Mia Langley. Mia reminded Charlie of his sister Peggy who ran away from home one day and later her skull was found near the construction site on the outskirts of town.
The Veteran Center where Charlie and other veterans were living was a result of plan that Nicholas Mannino and his wife Eleanor had thought of. Now Eleanor is not there in his life and later in life he fell for a waitress Maureen that even made him forgot about Eleanor when he was with her. Nicholas started visiting Veteran Center more after Eleanor’s death and there Charlie told him his entire life story. He also told him about a teenage girl Mia and her multiple personality disorder.
This is a gripping story that you won’t feel like putting down until you finish it. Author has written this story well and it’s perfect for weekend binge reading. Characters are interesting. Nick and Charlie both are my favorite from the story. If you are a big fan of thrillers then go ahead with “The Criminal Mind” without thinking twice. You won’t regret picking this novel at all. I am interested to read more novels by the author.
