“Perseverance. Reinvention: Losing It All to Gain What Truly Matters” penned by the author Ann Schreiber is an interesting read. This book is about perseverance and reinvention, about picking yourself up each time life knocks you down. I have got my hands on this book at a much needed time.

Ann has shared her life journey in this book. Going through a divorce, miscarriage and almost losing her son were challenging times of her life. These experiences changed her and made her stronger and better. The author suggests we put the hurts and disappointments behind us and become better from our experiences. Whenever we are at our low moments, we should seek out help. The author has shared her experience of miscarriage and how it impacts both the partners. Yet, she encouraged us to learn lessons from such sorrow.

While reading this book, you will realize the importance of perseverance and resilience. Our experiences help us to realize our strength and capabilities. Ann inspires us to live a life that is true to ourselves. This book encouraged me to create a new fulfilling life. I am grateful to Ann for sharing her story with us. The writing style of the author is amazing and the book is well paced. I am delighted to read it. It’s worth every second.

The Dragon Prophecies penned by the author M. T. Meiklejohn is Book One in The Return of the Dragons book series. The main character of the story is Cassandra. She was born and bred as Fisherfolk. Cassandra’s mother died while giving birth to her. She lived with her father until the day her father went missing at sea.

Cassandra now lives with her Aunt Jenna and Uncle Jom. Cassie is in her final year of glassblowing apprenticeship. Cassie displayed her articles at the market where people come from far and wide every six months. Cassie has a best friend Jewel. He brought Lady Adriana of the Azurite Tower and her guide and protector, Bolkin, to Cassie.

Lady Adriana told Cassie many things about energy. She discussed Dragon Fanir, the greatest of the Knowledge Dragons and how Cassie has made his replica. Read this story to know will the dragons return.

Those who enjoy reading fantasy novels should get their hands on this book. I enjoyed every bit of this story. The storyline is unique and the author has done fantastic work in this book. I loved Cassandra’s character the most. This is a well paced novel that you should definitely read.

Interview with author M T Meiklejohn

Q1. Hello, can you please introduce yourself? Readers would love to know more about you.

A1. M T Meiklejohn, born Michelle Meiklejohn, resides on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Her online business, Energy In Balance, has allowed her to delve deeply into the realms of crystals and energy work. Her passion for travel and exploration has taken her to over 40 countries, enriching her life and her writing with diverse cultural experiences. Michelles’s love for the outdoors, combined with her profound knowledge of energy work, has culminated in the creation of her debut fantasy series, The Return of the Dragons.

Q2. What were the key challenges you faced while writing your book “The Dragon Prophecies”?

A2. Time. Running a business, household and family while finding the time to write. It can be very difficult to find the time, particularly when the ideas are swirling around in your mind and you have a million other responsibilities to attend to. I am happiest when I’m being creative, so finding the time every day to write helps me deal with everything else life throws at me.

Q3. What books or authors have most influenced your own writing?

A3. I don’t think there’s a fantasy writer out there who can’t say that one of the most influential books they have read is The Hobbit. Being a young girl around 10-11 years old and fully immersing myself in this extraordinary adventure was a life-changing read for me. Being taken to a different place through such brilliant writing really started me on my fantasy book journey.

Q4. What’s your favourite spot to visit in your own country? And what makes it so special to you?

A4. I’m an avid hiker. I love getting out in the hinterlands around the beautiful area of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, where I live and hitting the trails. I also love going down to the beach and going for long walks beside the ocean.

Q5. What inspired you to write the book ‘The Dragon Prophecies’?

A5. I own and run a website that sells crystals and looks at them from a metaphysical point of view. Over the years, I have had the privilege of meeting a lot of genuine souls who work within the alternative health/spiritual industry. I amalgamated all I had seen and learnt over the years into a heartwarming story that everyone could relate to: The Dragon Prophecies.

Q6. How long did it take you to write your book ‘The Dragon Prophecies’?

A6. The idea had been brewing in my mind for a while, but I officially put pen to paper in January 2024 and had it released in July 2024. I am currently working on the second book in the series, which is very exciting.

Q8. Tell us about the process of coming up with the book cover and the title ‘The Dragon Prophecies’?

A8. As the first book in the series, I wanted a simple but striking cover and a template that could be easily used and adjusted for the coming books. When I saw the fire dragon photo, I loved it and worked with the designer from there.

Q9. When writing a book, how do you keep things fresh for your readers and yourself?

A9. With everything I have seen over the years I have a range of different ideas to work with. I never have any problem developing the next new and fresh idea.

Q10. What is the most valuable piece of advice you’ve been given about writing?

A10. With such a busy life, make sure you make the time to write each day. That’s why I have started on book number two and committed to adding a little every day.

I love reading Children’s books to my nephew. This time, I read Lori Rotter’s book “Best Dinosaur Ever” to him. It is a fun-filled read about a young boy Milo with big dreams. One day, Milo thought what kind of dinosaur he would be.

Soon, Milo started practicing his roaring. He sneaks up behind her sister and gives her a scare claiming he is a Sneaky-A-Sauras. Then Milo runs to the kitchen to prove himself as another kind of dinosaur. Will his family agree that he is the best dinosaur.

My nephew loved every bit of this book and wanted a dinosaur costume for himself after reading this book. Through this book, the author is inspiring children to have a big imagination and make their imaginations come true. This book could be read aloud in a classroom so more kids would be inspired to imagine.

Looking forward to reading more books by the author.

“The Kitten That Could Not Meow” is a Children’s book written by the author LoLisa Marie Monroe. The story features five kittens mixed in colors, sizes and even in their ears. Momma Kitty took care of them and when they were old enough, the kittens were ready to go to new homes.

Soon, different children visited the kittens to adopt them. Momma Kitty was happy with all the children who adopted her kittens. However, she was worried because her one little orange kitten couldn’t meow. Read this story to know if any children would adopt the kitten who couldn’t meow.

This is a wonderful story. It teaches a lesson to the kids and adults that their disability doesn’t define them. This story also teaches kids that each of us are unique and special in our own way. The writing style of the author is nice. The cover photo is eye-catching and the title of the book is suitable.

This story has touched my heart and I loved every bit of it. This book is for readers of the age group 3-11 years.

Recently I got my hands on Paula Stahel’s book “Undone: A Novel of Betrayal”. The main character of the story is Lydia Casselberry. She was shocked to find out that her husband Gil was having an affair. Gil and Lydia have been married for thirty-seven years and she doesn’t have any idea for how long her husband has been cheating her. She flew from her Tampa home so she could be alone and give a thought to her next decision.

She left a note to her best friend and another note to her husband mentioning that she is fine and needs time to decide whether she wants a divorce or could live with him. When Lydia found out about the PD through a website, what would she do? She was shocked to know that Marielle and Gil have been members for four years.

Read this story to see Lydia walking down memory lane and remembering her earlier days with Gil. The writing style of the author is nice. The story is engaging and you won’t feel like putting it down once you start reading it. Those who enjoy reading stories of betrayal, revenge, friendship, etc should get their hands on this book. Lydia’s character is written well by the author. I am delighted to read this story of betrayal.

The title of the book “A Family of Strangers” excited me to pick this book. William Osei is a family service specialist at Bambin Adoption and Foster Agency. At the agency, there was a ten-year-old boy named Bobby. At the age of ten, Bobby has already been in twenty foster homes. His different foster parents always dropped him back at the agency and he moved from one foster home to another.

Finally, William decided to adopt him. Soon, Bobby started warming up to him. One day, William was visited by a woman named Sarah. Sarah told him her entire story of being raped and how Bobby was left at the foster agency. Read this book to know will Bobby ever get to know the truth of Sarah and his biological father.

This is a unique story. I loved every bit of it. The writing style of the author is nice. This book would warm up your heart towards foster children. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for a child to go to different foster homes. I loved William’s character the most. The title of this book is suitable according to the contents. It would be amazing to explore more books by the author in the future.

It’s the first time that I have got my hands on a screenplay and I am impressed by the work of the authors Rob Nelson & Brian M. Wixson.

On April 29, 1863, during the American Civil War, a regiment of Confederate soldiers was charged with protecting hundreds of gold coins throughout the war as payroll for the troops. A choking black shroud prevented them from defending the fort or themselves, and all the soldiers were killed.

Every year, in the town of Southern Cross, Memorial Day is celebrated to pay respects to their hometown heroes.

This year, a tourist named Dan Cronenberg visited the town of Southern Cross for the Confederate Memorial Day celebration. The mayor requested him to tell everyone that Lt. Cronenberg was his ancestor, and he has come to honor him. While everyone was occupied with the celebrations, the black smoke rose from their tomb and started to swirl around and prevented the townspeople from moving or escaping. The regiment had come back from the dead and could be seen in the smoke. Soon, there was chaos everywhere. How would the townspeople fight back against an Undead evil bent on revenge.

This heart-wrenching story is a powerful reminder to prioritize our well-being and that of our loved ones. I am deeply moved by Greg’s candid sharing of his painful experience.

“The Official Black Book Black Index” penned by The Kingzman is a gripping read. In this book, the author has written about sexual experiences with different women. The women featured include the wealthy, the submissive, the sexually deviant, the sexually experienced, and the inexperienced.

“The Mommy Returns” is a story about a woman with a big ass who works part-time at the brothel. Because of her free time, she was willing to invest her time in Daddy. The Daddy made the Mommy crave for him by withholding sex from Mommy. The Mommy was given time to prepare herself for the anal sex. Read this story to know will the Daddy let the Mommy go deep physically.

DFS versus DBKS is a story about two women DFS and DBKS. DFS once told Daddy that she is his cousin’s mama. After thinking about it, Daddy finally banged her harder but the problem was that DFS got attached and insecure for Daddy. DBKS is a woman who hasn’t sexually experienced much in her life. She needed to be brought out of her shell. How will things go with DBKS?

I enjoyed reading other stories too. The Portal Pleaser and The Irish Emerald are also my favorites from the collection. This book is a unique read with unique stories. This book is only for adult readers with an open mind. I am grateful to the author for including a dictionary at the beginning. It was helpful. Those who are comfortable reading mature content would enjoy these stories. I was on the edge of my seat while reading this book.
