The plot of the Heirs Apparent made me to pick this book. A Malcom Winters Story is intriguing and attention grabbing.

Book Summary:
Starting with only a cryptic message about an event from a century ago, written in the blood of the woman he loved, Malcom Winters races around Chicago piecing together increasingly baffling parts of the puzzle in an effort to solve the crime and gain his vengeance. Together with the help of a brilliant and beautiful science professor, a gruff chef who claims to be in witness protection for trying to assassinate Fidel Castro, and a cross-dressing businessman, he uncovers a bizarre murder spree and draws the attention of the killer to himself and those few people he holds dear.

My Review:

1) Cover page of the book is simple.
2) Plot is interesting and has the power to hold you till the last page.
3) Murder mysteries are my favorite so I can put my brain to think what must have happened, who must be behind this. It’s great mystery book.
4) I found the language a bit complex. I have to re-read some parts. But once I got the grip, story went smooth.
5) Characters are well developed.

Strongly recommended to others especially the regular readers who love thriller, mystery, suspense novels. A good book to add to your TBR list.

I have picked up the book “Pokhran” by author Uday Singh. The story talks about the nuclear test, Smiling Buddha that happened in Pokhran in Year 1974.

And because of the fallout of the nuclear test, a lot of people suffered. But no one wants to talk about it and prefer to stay quiet. The media does not want to talk about the issue, the politics come into play too. The voice of common people is unheard.

The character of Chaitanya who had physical disabilities is very well developed in the story. Without a doubt he is inspiration for all and is courageous. The author have talked about various topics like racism, religion, democracy etc.

In this book you will read about the other social issues faced by India. This book is Priceless as it gives you a lot more knowledge, I just hooked into it and cannot keep the book down. The author have done a commendable job in writing it down.

This book is full of information, facts and knowledge. Go for it and thank me later 😉

Her friend gave her the idea to foster. Friends are always life savior. Isn’t it? Carla got a pre-mature baby boy but unfortunately after six months he was taken back to his birth parents. After being exploited in every way, Carla decides to fight the battle against the system and Devon’s birth parents so she can have him back.

Writing style of the author is amazing. After reading this book, the title seems much sensible to me. Narration is smooth and the cover page of the book is related to the story. I recommend this book to others so they can know about the emotional journey of Carla to her son.

Dominion Of The Star is the debut novel of the author Angelica Clyman. It is the first book in the Descendants of the Fallen series. Kayla was pulled by an unexplainable force, she has to leave the shelter of her isolated village and go to a new place where betrayal and confusion is waiting for her.

Kayla Steelryn’s father was a freedom fighter. Her surname Steelryn and the other surname Serafin earlier was a symbol of hope for a better future. There are so many suspense in the story to hook the readers.

The length of the book is much longer. World building and storyline is amazing. The story is so intense that you won’t feel like putting this book down. As a debut novel author has done amazing work. However, the pace was slow initially and then it picked up speed somewhere from the middle. Couldn’t wait to read the sequel of this book.

I would recommend this to apocalyptic fantasy fans.

Silver Moon by the author Jenny Knipfer is the third book in “By The Light Of the Moon” series. It is a historical fiction set in the year 1914 in Webaashi Bay, Ontario.

The war sets the backdrop of the story. It is set in WWI. The men are at war and their women/family struggles at home to get some news about their men. The men also want to return home to the women who hold their hearts.

Even though this book is a third part of series but one can enjoy it as a standalone also. We get to read about the wartime struggles and it all felt so real. Each character has his own struggles to deal with. I appreciate the author for the research work that she must have done to write this novel. The ending of the story  and the way author has put everything together will definitely astonish you.

There are many characters in the story and some are from the previous parts of this triology. Even though it’s a historical fiction but you will find romance between the characters. Overall it’s an amazing read and I would recommend you to read its previous parts before reading this one for better understanding of characters.

They were friends since they were toddlers. Even though Tayla is not a party animal but still she go to the party for her friend Karen. Due to her headache Tayla left early from the party. On her way to home, she was followed by a mysterious man but luckily she reached her home safely.

Next time when Tayla went to Karen’s home for gosipping and she was returning home around 11 pm, she got kidnapped by the same mysterious same. Read the story to know why Tayla was kidnapped? What was the thing that this mysterious man need from Tayla?

The writing style of the author is amazing and narration is so clear that I was able to read and understand the story easily. Storyline is intense and you couldn’t put it down until you finish it. Cover is amazing and totally related to the story. A must read.

Melita was a feminist since childhood. The idea of men working and women taking care of home is something Melita didn’t liked. Melita always felt like she doesn’t fit in her male chauvinism family.

The story shifts between different timelines but that is quite clear as the year is mentioned at the top of the chapters. Melita has a daughter Emily. Melita is the only representative as Emily’s family, still she can’t carry her decently. Even though Emily’s family is not good but still Troy(Emily’s bridegroom) accepted Melita. Melita refused to come to Emily’s engagement. Read the story to know more how this mother-daughter relationship will go.

This is an intense story that revolves around family issues. Through Melita and Emily’s mistakes, we will learn so many lessons so we can be a better person. Written well with smooth narration, I recommend this easy breezy read to all my fellow readers.

Book contains some mature content and I advice this book for 18+ years.

Make It Sweet is the second book that I have read written by the author Marisa Scolamiero. It is book 2 in the Hearts Are Wild series. The protagonist of the story are Tess Carmichael and Danny Moreau. Tess had a history of liking guys who were selfish assholes. She had make bakery as her focus so her mind is not diverted towards relationships.

Tess had a best friend Charlie. Charlie’s brother Danny Moreau always had his eyes on Tess. Tess also had a crush on Danny but because he is her best friend’s brother, so she had listed him as off-limits. Read the entire story yourself to know what happens further.

The story is written well. The plot of the story is intriguing and I enjoyed reading this light romance story. Narration is clear and smooth. Cover page of the book is so decent. Looking forward to read more books from the author in the future.

His daily routine involved delivering mail packages and dreaming about the content of the packages. But he was too bored of this monotonous routine.

We get to read about the inner thoughts of the protagonist in this story. When Sam’s friend David got out of jail, the story became more gripping. Grab a copy of this book and read yourself to find out what will eventually happen with Sam. Written in a simple language and with smooth narration, I found the story interesting. Since the book has mature content, so it is recommended for only adults.
