Will Alex be able to save herself when the situation demands? This is a great paranormal romance story and I enjoyed reading it.
Plot of the story is unique. The book has smooth narration. This book will involve death, grief, complicated relationships, etc. Characters are written well and Alex’s character is my favourite. The story will keep you on the edge as you will be curious to know what happens next. I like to recommend this book to my fellow readers.

Story features Maggie. She has moved from South Carolina to New York. Maggie is now living with her close friend Violet. She is looking for work in the city. When she was at the subway, she felt as if wax-covered needles of eyes were watching her. When the train arrived, an elderly man boarded the train with Maggie. He warned Maggie by saying that certain stations are not safer at night. The man gave his business card to Maggie. A secretary position was opened at The Lion Housing Corporation and he mentioned about putting a good word for her.
There are many rules that Maggie has to follow at the new job. One of the rules was to uphold confidentiality if she leaves the Syndicate. Read this story to find out what Maggie is putting herself into.

“Keys to Eternity” penned by the author Lali A Love is the third installment in the Ascending Angel Academy series. The story’s beginning raised my excitement to the peak as my favorite character Jo is back.
Jo is the eleventh grade student of Ascending Angel Academy. Since her separation from Roma, it has been tough for Jo. We see her looking for balance between her celestial mission and physical reality. With the help of Jo and friends Daphne, Nisha, Alicia, etc readers will be inspired to overcome their fears and work on self-growth.
I really loved the character development of Jo in this book. Many times, we find Jo having visions of a disturbing, unrecognizable timeline. Plot of the story is as always gripping. Daisy has finally found a partner, Brad. Brad’s divorce was devastating for him. He has two kids and Daisy has two girls. Both Brad and Daisy are busy in their careers too but both of them find time for each other. The weekend that Brad and Daisy spent together was fantastic. They tried many new things and made memories.
I loved Daisy’s talks with her friends. We all should have great friends with whom we can share everything. The way Jessica and Angela supported her mom after knowing about Brad is heart touching. Parents have the right to be happy and kids should think about their happiness too.

I love reading thrillers. This time I got my hands on Brent Ladd’s Time 2 Die. This is the fourth installment in the Codi Sanders Thriller series but one could read it as a standalone also.
In Long Island, New York, Mary Mallon was a cook. Her last job with the Warren family ended in tragedy as part of the family died off. She didn’t understand why she wasn’t affected. One day, George Sober, a sanitation engineer reached out to Mary asking for some details from her. Three weeks later when the Thompson family lost two of their kids, George accused Mary saying she is a carrier for typhoid fever but Mary refused to give her sample. George got Mary arrested and she was found positive for bacteria Salmonella Typhi. In the year 1938, Mary died.
As the story progresses, two FBI agents Joel and Codi were asked to work on the case of the stolen corpse of Mary Mallon. Codi is not sure what someone would do with a stolen corpse. Read this story to see Codi and her team digging deeper.
Pullin Ikaika is a figure to whom appearance was a source of power that could be wielded as effectively as a gun. Even at 52, he looks amazing. Pullin’s character is written well and he caught the reader’s attention.
This story is set in multiple cities. It takes you from Long Island, New York to Kolkata, India and to other places. This story made my memories of the pandemic fresh. It was such a difficult time. Storyline is interesting and I was hooked to this story till the end. I appreciate the author’s choice of title for this book. Go for it without any second thoughts.
Q1. Please introduce yourself so that the readers will get to know you better.
My name is Martin, I am a secondary school teacher, Governor of an SEN school, Chairman of a National Charity and now a published Author/Illustrator from Cheshire, England.
Q2. What is your inspiration behind your book “Grandma Saved A Bumble Bee”?
It’s based on a real story. Back in the summer of 2020, when we were allowed to have a visitor during the Covid19 lockdown, my mum came to visit. We all sat in the garden chatting away when this bumble dropped in front of us. So this book tells the story of how my mum brought the bumble bee to life. The kids were shouting “Grandma saved a bumble bee” and I made up a little rhyme on the spot and they liked it and told me to publish it. So here we are!
Q3. When did you realize you want to be an author of Children’s Book?
I’ve wanted to write a book for a long time but didn’t know to write about and I didn’t have the confidence to write. My creativity came in the way of making up stories but not writing them down. In 2014 I had this idea for a book and starting to make notes. Eventually it was typed up and I kept adding to it. Then I stopped as my creativity dried up. Then the bumble bee, affectionately known as Barry, entered our lives and I shifted from a novel to a picture book and I’ve been enjoying that much more.
Q4. Are you planning to release your next book soon?
Yes, I have two more planned for Christmas. One with Grandma again and one with a new main character, Grandad. Then I have a couple more ready for next year if these become popular.
Q5. For which age group your books are suitable?
It’s tailored for 0–6-year-olds but children as old as 10 have enjoyed it too. Two of my children have additional needs so I illustrate in a way that is simple with bold colours so that even they can see the images and read the text. That’s become popular and my style seems to be enjoyed by my targetted age range.
Q6. What is your favorite Quote?
I have a two quotes that stick me with. “Stay faithful to the stories in your head” by Paula Hawkins, author of Into the Water. “Success in not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage the continue that counts” by Winston S. Churchill.
Q7. What do you like the most about your country?
My family. I’ve been fortunate enough to work and live in many countries. Parts of Europe, Russia, USA, Nicaragua for example. But whenever I’ve come home I feel more complete when I have my family around me. Plus, I am a big Everton FC fan, so being able to get to the games is important to me.
Q8. What suggestion you want to give to parents of little readers regarding a reading habit?
Research shows us that reading to and with young children develops intelligent and creative thought, a love of learning and increased literacy. Reading to little ones helps create a bond between parent/carers and their child. It’s lovely to curl up with your little one on your knee with a book and read and explore the pages with them. They do grow up and those moments become less frequent until they’re eventually gone and you will miss doing, or regret not doing, those daily reading moments.
Q9. What does literary success look like to you?
Success for me is that every child, no matter what country they live in or how much money they have, can read and enjoy stories. The feeling of holding and reading a paper version of a book sets of a different type of hormone than reading a book on a tablet, but they can both lead to a happier child. I love creativity and imagination and I think it is ok to dream about an alternative reality, I think it’s ok to live in an alternative reality. Good literacy can lead to all that and that then opens up the opportunity to be more successful at school and in life.
Q10. Lastly, who is your inspiration in life and why?
I enjoy the work, and the backgrounds of; Julia Donaldson and J.K. Rowling. I admire their determination to get their stories read and out there. I appreciate their honesty and charitable nature. Knowing these people started with just an idea, a spark of creativity, and have been able to become recognisable people and millions enjoy their writing, inspires me.
“Will of Magic: Chokehold of Darkness” is an interesting fantasy book written by the author Peter J Reurings.
This story involves Kena serving the nation of Malacia. She is strong on the battlefield and is at the top. General Collingwood assigned Captain Rainer Goldsmidt to Kena’s squadron. The Captain wondered why he has been put in charge of the squad while a higher-ranked officer is listed as my second in command. Kena told him to follow her orders.
The mission is to end the Civil war before the Year’s End festival. Kena is a mage which makes her evil in front of the normal people. Read this story to know what will happen on the battlefield and will Kena be free?
I appreciate the vivid imagination of the author in the vast world building. The characters are well written by the author. Cover photo of the book is nice. Writing style of Peter is amazing. I enjoyed every bit of the story. If you enjoy stories of war and magic then go for this one.
Lucina’s Letters penned by the author Barbara Francesca Murphy is an interesting story that explores the family secrets. Three girls Samantha, Lora and Grace were playing in the forest. They wanted to teach a lesson to the boy who was interrupting their play. So, they threw him into the river. The intention of the girls was not to kill him but the boy was gone now.
After her son Evan’s death, Rosie couldn’t gather herself. Years later, when she got the news of her half-sister Lucina’s death, she joined the family to go to Italy so they could attend Lucina’s funeral. Lucina was the head of the family. She knew that there was too much hurt in the family. There are many loose ends to be tied. When the family will hear Lucina’s letter, will the broken pieces be fixed?
This is a well written story that hooked me to the last page. A diagrammatic family tree would have been better to understand the characters well. Plot of the story is interesting. Lucina’s character is my favorite. She inspired me to be a compassionate person. This is a must read book. Go for it.
The Inheritor penned by the author Peter Storm is a gripping story. Main character of the story is Callum Hopkins. From the driver Truss, Callum got to know that his uncle Edmund Hopkins was a recluse but a gentleman. Callum is now the sole beneficiary of the moon valley estate in Hampshire. He was admitted to boarding school. His uncle paid the term fees. Callum never knew the exact cause of his mother’s death.
He has inherited great property from his uncle after his death. But with great power, there are great dangers associated. Callum invited Magda to his manor as she told him about the book that kept the history records. What is the dark past about which the villagers are curious for avenge?
Grab a copy of this book and find out the secrets along with Callum. Language used in the book is simple and easy to understand. Narration is smooth. After reading this book, I understand the author’s choice of the title for the book. Cover photo is well designed. Go for it. I am sure you would be delighted to read it.
