I am impressed by Ashme and her twin brother Shen’s relationship. Shen’s vulnerability and innocence contrast sharply with the brutal world around them, making their bond both touching and powerful. As Ashme navigates dangerous jobs and confronts the authority controlling her world, her motivations are deeply rooted in protecting her family and maintaining a sense of dignity in a system designed to strip it away.

The futuristic setting: complete with surveillance systems, AI networks, and powerful corporations feels detailed. Ashme’s Song is an engaging read for fans of dystopian and cyberpunk fiction.
