The main character of the story is Aria Waters. Aria is in love with a straight girl named Danielle Hathaway. They go to school for “gifted” children. They can teleport around the world and are called “Wanderers.” They have to see into their inner world to see what their side effect is.

When Aria first saw Danielle, she got the impression that Danielle thinks she’s better than everyone else. Danielle is her roommate now and after talking to her, she realized that Danielle doesn’t speak highly of herself. Danielle is a Time Wanderer. Teleporting through time makes her side effects come right after she lands. Side effects and Wanderers live two different lives and different secrets.

Once, Aria saw a weird light come from Danielle that seemed like her ghost. It mentioned “You were the only thing stopping me from proving it to her.” 

What would happen when Aria realized that Danielle is the one keeping her from Danielle. Aria likes Danielle and she doesn’t want anyone to stand in her way, not even the real Danielle.

The story is gripping and keeps me on the edge of my seat. The book is well paced and there are no dull moments in it. The writing style of the author is easy to follow. The characters would stay in my mind for a long time. Those who enjoy reading Afro sci-fi romance fiction would have a great time reading this book.
