“How It All Began: How Collecting Items Became Collecting Experiences” written by the author Deb Hoffmann is an enjoyable read. Back then, Deb was a daddy’s girl. When she was two years old, her father gifted her a plush Winnie-the-Pooh. When Deb saw Winnie-the-Pooh, it was love at first sight. 

Since then, Deb has taken Pooh everywhere she goes. She couldn’t take it to school but the moment she reached home, she would rush to her room to be with Pooh. Being a collector was a part of Deb’s DNA. Once, she saw a Winnie-the-Pooh phone in a store but when she went to the store next time, the phone was gone. Deb gave advertisements in the newspaper to find the person who bought it. Luckily, she received the call from the man and bought the phone from him. 

After marrying Gary, the couple visited Walt Disney World park. There, Deb asked for an opportunity to play Pooh next time they had a sale in the department. They agreed to it. Read the story to know what happens next.

Those who are collectors would love this book for sure. It was entertaining to read Deb’s different stories and how she collected various Pooh items. Gary and Deb’s journey across the world in search of Pooh made this book an enjoyable read. I read a couple of stories in a single sitting. It’s a unique book and is well written. The book is well paced. Go ahead with it without any second thoughts.
