Recently I got my hands on the book “Clementia’s Curfew” written by the author Peter J. Woolley. The story is set in Clementia city. The story features Melissa McEleos. She left for home late from work and unfortunately her car broke down. Melissa decided to walk home. She has already missed the curfew. In Clementia City, the government doesn’t punish anyone for the defiance of the curfew but it’s a suicidal act.
After 6 pm, it is advisable to stay inside your homes as vampires, the monsters are lurking out in the dark. Near her building, Melissa was attacked by a man who in turn was attacked by vampires. Melissa ran away and reached her home safely. After a week, she saw the news of another man killed by vampires when he was trying to get video footage of vampires. Melissa was once betrayed when she tried saving a man’s life in Anastasia Park. Now, Leon and Tony are asking her to help and let them inside her house. Is she willing to risk her life? Will Melissa trust the two men?
The story plot is nice. This book kept me on the edge of my seat as I read it. The cover photo of the book is nice and the title couldn’t have been better than this. Peter has created a fantastic world in this book and I loved the idea of vampires and curfew. I would be interested in reading more books by Peter in the near future.
