“Searching for the Eminent: March of the Meek” is a fantasy fiction penned by the author Marvin North. It is the first book in the Eminent Trilogy. The main character of the story is a thirteen-year-old boy Recko Curse. He lives in the rural plains just outside the last inhabited city on the planet- Last Thesi. Recko’s mother was murdered for her ties to the mercenary group. His father also disappeared soon. Recko was left in care of Maven, a father figure to him now.
Recko often asks Maven about the whereabouts of his father. He is determined to find out what happened to him. Recko’s world turned upside down when a mysterious cabin appeared next to his home. Maven told him that it’s not a natural storm. In fact, it’s magic. It will be interesting to see whether Recko is successful in stopping the apocalypse. Grab a copy of this book and read the story to find out what happens next.
The writing style of the author is amazing. The pace of the story is fast and I wasn’t bored anytime while reading this book. The characters are written well. I appreciate the vivid imagination of the author in creating this fantasy world.
The backdrop setting is great. It’s a page turner. Go for it without any second thoughts.
