Margaret Anne: Child of the West Wind penned by the author Ronan James Cassidy is an intriguing story.

Margaret Anne Basseterre was the third child of her mother. When she was born in 1859, the nation was on the brink of war. After the birth of Margaret, her mother Miss Jeanne Jolie had many questions. She was worried and wanted to know why her daughter who was armed by the angels above was so still and quiet.

The storyline is interesting. The story kept me on the edge to know the secrets of Margaret. Once you start reading this book, you can’t put it down. This book will remind the readers that everything is done in God’s perfect timing. The language used in the book is simple and easy to follow. This book will make the readers feel closer to God. The story has history, suspense, belief in God, dark family secrets, etc.

Those who love reading stories set around the civil war should get their hands on this one. The characters are written well. I like to recommend it to my fellow readers.
