Brighter Stars is a beautifully written novel by the author Logan Kelly. The story is set during the time when the Great Depression sweeps the country. One of the main characters of the story is James Miller. He knows that one day he will be a great actor. James has been certain about his destiny since he was six years old.
James has strong feelings for his friend Harry who is tall, toned and athletic. Sarah is their other close friend. When Sarah told James that Harry wants to propose to their old schoolmate Nancy, James was hurt. Who is Marco? Will his arrival affect James’ life?
LGBTQ+ Historical Epic fans don’t miss reading this book. The story is great. It has love, lust, determination to survive, etc. The ending of the story is unexpected but I like the way it ended. Pick a copy of this book. You would be taken to the dark days of the Great Depression. Historical fiction lovers would enjoy this story.
