“Blooming Beyond Brooklyn: Poems of Roots, Sorrows, & Lessons” is a poetry collection penned by the poet/life coach Iris J Arenson-Fuller. This book has a collection of poems related to different topics like dreams, when to let go, Brooklyn Summers, etc. It is a memoir poetry. So, readers will get to know about different experiences of the author.

Few of my favorite poems from the collection are: When We Are Afraid, Balm For Invisible Wounds, Wondering where life went, etc.

This book includes pain, hope, growth, survival, love, motherhood, widowhood, aging, healing, determination, etc. I am glad to get my hands on this book.

I was angry/hurt because of a few things that happened to me in the past and I was unable to let them go. But this book inspired me to weave them into a garment of fabulous new colors. This is a lovely poetry book. I really appreciate Iris for sharing about her life events with us. I like to strongly recommend this well written book to others. Go for it without any second thoughts. You will have a great time reading the poems from this book.
