Charlie is a new student at Oakwood Secondary School. He is an orphan and an outsider so he will get everyone’s attention at school. But fortunately, Charlie made a friend named Alex at school. From his mother’s last letter, Charlie finds out that he is different and has a purpose on earth. Charlie even has a map of Arcadia. What will Charlie do with this map? Will he find another world on earth with the name of Arcadia?
Apart from the protagonist Charlie, other characters that play an important role in the story are Alex, Derkein, Richmond, etc.
The world building is so amazing. I was totally pulled into this story while reading it and it made me forget the real world for a while. After reading the first book in the series, I am curious to get my hands on the second one.
