Story features a sixteen-year-old girl Jo who is the main character of the story. Three months ago, on one fateful night, Jo’s mother Lilac was taken hostage by a homicidal maniac. Since then, Jo had been having the same nightmares every night. She couldn’t tell about her nightmares to anyone because she couldn’t explain something to others when she herself isn’t able to understand it.
One day, when Jo was in the old dingy basement of her high school along with her friends. Rey opened the door to a portal where ancient creatures once ruled the underworld with their sinister parasitical powers.
Read this book to unveil what will happen next. Cover photo is lovely. This book has different genres: Paranormal, Science fiction and fantasy. Writing style of Lali is fantastic. I enjoyed reading this story a lot. I like to highly recommend this book to young adult readers.
