King’s Daughter is the second complement of Lauren Lee Merewether’s debut series, The Lost Pharaoh Chronicles Complement Collection. After Nefertiti was betrayed and murdered, her daughter Nefe ran from her home. Nefe was left alone to trust Paaten, General of Pharaoh’s Armies. Paaten who swore his life to Nefertiti earlier has swore the life to Nefe now. They have decided to move out of Egypt after the sun sets in the west. Their identity will be protected as they will call each other as Citizeness and Citizen.
Another character Atinuk is a stranger and Paaten says he don’t trust him as he doesn’t know about him much. Grab a copy of this book and find out yourself is Nefe trusting the right people?
Glossary given at the book is quite helpful. Cover photo looks amazing. Storyline is intense. The way author has described historical details in this novel is well appreciated. Language of the book is lucid.
