Daniel who lacks belief in himself feels butterflies in his stomach oftenly. His sister Darcie is opposite of him. She is strong, independent and has a cute smile. Every night in his dreams, Daniel go on great adventures and meet new people. One night, a corn-yellow, egg shaped monster Dex appeared in Daniel’s room and took him to Monster Mountain. Language of this story book is lucid. Cover photo of the book is eye catchy. This book is full of pretty illustrations and is a perfect pick for bedtime reading. I could relate myself to Daniel as I am also shy but adventure loving person. Author’s storytelling skill is mind blowing. This book is perfect and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars out of 5. Truly loved it.
