Chaos is the debut novel of the author Lucy Roy and is the first installment in the Tessa Avery series. Tessa is an eighteen years old high school student living in Renville, Pennsylvania. When she was five years old, her guardians told her that she had been chosen by the Elders Council to become a soldier for the gods of Olympus.
Her training to transition from a student to an Ischyra has been going on. Soon, she will be defending humans against the evil creatures that had been released on Earth by the gods thousands of years ago. Few days before her transformation, Nathaniel a liaison from Olympus was sent to check the new group.
Story has multiple POVs that shifts between Tessa and Nathaniel. Storyline is unique and different from the usual stories. World building is something I really want to appreciate. Cover photo is eye catchy and title is suitable. Really looking forward to read the next book in the series.
