“The Hand of Destiny” written by the author Srividya Srinivasan is an intriguing story. There are four main characters in the story around whom the story revolves: Venkat, Rajalakshmi, Jonas and Katherine.
Rajalakshmi’s son Venkat was turning 28 today. Unfortunately he met with an accident and she lost her son forever. Katherine Mary Flannigan is the mother of Jonas who was turning 20 today. Kathy and James, Jonas’ parents saw his photo in the news. They wondered why Jonas’ photo is in the news?

Language of the book is lucid. Cover photo could have been better. Glossary given at the end of the book is helpful. Story involves pain, guilt, loss of a loved one, healing, etc. I like to recommend it to beginners.
