“Judge me Now” written by Cheurlie Pierre-Russell features Dallas Jackson who had a rough time growing up. Dallas was nine months old when he was discovered and taken away from his mother Donna who were into drugs and drinking alcohol. Soon, he was taken to the communal foster home but Dallas didn’t receive the care he was supposed to receive there. There were so many boys in foster that Dallas didn’t even got enough attention.
Dallas couldn’t believe that a white couple has come to adopt him. He was adopted by Sarah and Hunter Miller when he was six years old. He also has two white brothers now who embrace him. Grab a copy of this book and find out yourself will Dallas have positive changes in his life? Are there any challenges that he has to face by living in a white neighborhood?
Language of the book is lucid. Cover photo is nice. I read this book in a single sitting. This story was an emotional read for me. Please be advised that it contains sensitive content like drugs, alcohol, etc. If you are comfortable reading about it go ahead with this. It’s a promising story.
