Mercury Rising: Episodes 1-5 is a contemporary fantasy romance novel written by Altersaside. It is an interesting story. Lia, a human saved life of Rist, the fae. As the payment of her help, Lia used Rist’s magic to cast a love spell to draw forth her true love Alden. But the spell bonded Lia and Rist as a result. Rist couldn’t believe that Lia managed to bond to him without his permission.
Lia and her roommate Bennet know about fae and magic a lot because Bennett’s grandmother is into all this stuff and both Lia and Bennett had learnt a lot from her. When the three of them went in search for fae’s guard Maeci, a shapeshifter, they saw her bounded to the tree fighting with the bonds. Grab a copy of this novel and find out yourself what happens next.
Story is intriguing and it hooked my attention from the beginning. Pace of the story is fine and I didn’t felt bored anytime while reading it. Cover photo is nice and characters are well written. I enjoyed reading this novel and I am looking forward to read the sequel of it. It’s a promising story that I like to recommend to fantasy lovers.
