The Book of Jericho is a supernatural thriller written by the author J.D. Oliva. It is the first book in the Books of Jericho series. 23 years old Ritchie Keller, son of one of the most powerful lobbyists in the country was murdered in his Georgetown apartment. Police has called it a burglary gone wrong.
Ritchie’s parents Randal Keller and Amanda Keller denied an autopsy and full investigation of their dead kid. So, Charlie Welles, the Internet troll defamed the couple. When Randal ended up in jail, he got the contact number of Ethan Jericho who runs Cherry Vale Security service. When Jericho started working for Keller’s, he realized that the situation is not as simple as it looks.
Renee White Bird, a twenty-four-year-old Native American activist has arranged a protest against a major fracking operation fifteen miles outside of a small Minnesota town off Interstate 12 called Hawk Hallow. Grab a copy of this book and read the story as Jericho and Renee starts going deeper into things. This is a good thriller that I like to suggest to avid thriller readers.
Author has done amazing work in the world building. Language of the book is lucid. Story shows the power of Internet in today’s world. Character development is done well and story is quite interesting. Once you start reading this book, you won’t be able to put it down without finishing it. Pace of the story is fine and cover photo is nice. Overall, it’s a good thriller that one shouldn’t miss to read.
