Story starts with Eric Kirkpatrick and his daughter Stacey heading into the dark of the Klamath National Forest. Eric has dedicated much of his life studying anthropology and cryptozoology. Now, his daughter Stacey had been studying the same.
Stacey was taken by the beast deeper into the dark forest. When Eric woke up in the hospital, two government agents Anders and Wilkes came to inquire about Stacey. Nurse Serena O’Halloran helped Eric by escaping from the hospital. She told him that there is something wrong with the government agents. Cover photo of the book looks awesome. Narration of the story is smooth and clear. It is an intriguing story that I enjoyed a lot. Author has constructed great world in this novel. Pace of the novel is fine and I couldn’t put this book down until I finished it. It’s a captivating story that will hook readers right from the first page.
