Awakening of the heart is the first book in Journey of the Heart series written by J.L. Dawson. Story features the life of Abigail since she was a little girl. Abigail has her parents, her brother Luke in her family. When her mother lost a baby girl Heather, she couldn’t keep up with the grief. Few days after the death of Heather, Abby’s mother died too. Abby and her brother Luke were raised by their father.
When Abby was ten years old, her father remarried. Abby decided not to like her new mother Leah. Her Pa and Leah had three children of them. When Abby met a kind man Rueben whose father is a doctor, Abby and Rueben fell for each other. Later they got married. Rueben is now a doctor and Abby support him at office and home. Many years has passed after their marriage. Abby want to have a child of her own. Will this dream of her ever come true?
This is a story that is full of different emotions. There is death, birth, pain, loss, grief, etc in the story. Written in a simple language, readers gonna enjoy this story. Cover photo of this book is very nice and title couldn’t have been better than this. It’s a worth reading story that one shouldn’t miss to read.
