Recently I read the book Fly Girl written by a couple Bill Hellman and Sali Gear. Protagonist of the story is a female fighter pilot Rawley West. Her father Bud West was a Navy Fighter Pilot too. Now he has a mountain flying business in his home state of Montana. Rawley just landed the fighter plane. It was her last flight as a fighter pilot. Now, she has accepted a job to be a contract pilot for the CIA in Afghanistan.
As she received her training guidelines, she saw only guys who are shorter and heavier than her. She met her college boyfriend Rip. Rawley and Rip were inseparable in college days but one day he just disappeared and she hasn’t seen him for seven years. What will happen when she saw Rip working mysteriously for the CIA in Afghanistan.
Cover photo of the book is so eye catchy making me excited to fly. Title of the story is short and sweet. Plot of the story is realistic. Those who are in navy or military could connect well to the story and could feel the emotions of the protagonist well. Writing style of the authors are impressive. It is a great story that I enjoyed.
