I love reading romance novels. “A Second Chance in Tuscany” by Shantal Sessions is a story about two main characters Selene and Josh. When they were in Haleakala on a two weeks vacation, they liked each other’s embrace. Selene’s family loved Josh. Now, on the last day of vacation, Josh promised Selene to come to Greece after finishing up the landscaping job at the resort.
As time passed by, Selene had to deal with the miscarriage of her baby alone. Josh never came to Greece to see her. What she didn’t know was that Josh came to Greece and she wasn’t there. Josh’s mother was also upset with Selene as she didn’t inform Josh that she is moving out of Greece.
Fate wanted them to meet again. So, when Josh went to Italy to fix his grandma’s house, he met Selene there who had to move to Italy with her family due to the crisis in Greece. Will Josh and Selene love each other back? Selene is now getting attention of other Italian guys at the photo shoot. Will things gonna be easy for Josh?
Story has a strong female protagonist who is happy to help her family financially. The side character of Uncle Ray is amazing. I also have someone like Ray who helped my family in difficult times. Love can happen in two weeks or in two minutes. This story is gripping and the plot is well constructed. Characters are nicely described by the author. Overall, it’s a nice story that I am enthralled to read.
