Animal Council and the Disappearing Sea Ice by the author MV Solstrand is a book that is written as a result of personal experiences of author while living in the subarctic and Arctic for 17 years. Story starts with the tragic incident that showed us the unity among the different sea animals. The way tuna, Hank and the S.U.N. (Signal for Uniting Networks) together saved the dolphins by ripping the net apart is amazing.
Polar bear numbers are already reducing all over the Arctic. With the ice gone Marina, a female polar bear gonna starve and her Cubs too. When she smelled whale meat, she thought finally she can have something to eat but unfortunately she tumbled into the sea and managed to climb onto a small piece of ice. On the other hand, a two legger Magnhild got separated from her dad and she was floating on an ice piece in the middle of the sea. Will Animal Council rescue both?
The story is interesting. Reading this book was an amazing experience. It gave me an idea about the feelings of the animals. To maintain the balance, it is very important not to hunt the animals. This story is like a wake up call to maintain the balance in the nature. Cover photo is nice and title is suitable according to the story. I recommend my fellow readers to read this book at least once.
