The Foretold Story Book 1: Part 1 written by the author Katia R.V. Reed is the debut novel of the author. Protagonist of the story is Midas Aurulien. He belongs to a poor and broken home. His father Titan is an abusive alcoholic and his mother Adele is a broken spirit. Adele’s mother knew that her son is a special boy and will do great things in the future.
On his parent’s anniversary, due to the rash drunk driving done by Titan, his parent’s car met with an accident and Midas lost his parents forever. Midas has big dreams to work for the Skyscraper Empire but after his parent’s death, he didn’t seem to be in good condition. His school teacher Mr Reeves was concerned about Midas and one day Mr Reeves went to Midas home to take him to Reeves House.
I really enjoyed this novel. Author has built a great fantasy world. I am deeply touched by the beautiful character of Mr Reeves. The way he supported Midas is highly appreciated. Even though it’s a fictional story but Midas’s condition touched my heart. Having an abusive alcoholic parent and then losing them forever, I can’t even imagine how tough life must be for Midas. Cover of the book is nicely designed and the title is suitable. Language is easy to understand. This is an intriguing story that one couldn’t miss to read at all.
