I love reading fantasy novels therefore I picked the novel “Sentinals Awaken” written by Helen Garraway. Story is set in the Kingdom of Vespiri. Crown Prince Kharel told Jerrol Haven that he is under arrest for treason. Prince told him that for plotting against the Crown and Administration, Jerrol is going to be executed.
Jerrol escaped from the cell and from the Old Vespers to be alive. He made it to Greenswatch and he woke up outside a cave. He saw Lady Leyandrii, the deity worshipped by at least three of the four kingdoms of Remargaren. Lady told him that the Ascendants grow bold and they are back to finish the deed. Grab a copy of this book and read it yourself to unveil the further story.
Sentinals Awaken is the first book in the series. I found the story gripping and I couldn’t put this book down until I finished it. Cover photo of the book looks nice and the title is according to the story. Even though the story is little lengthy but it was worth my time. I am interested to read the second book Sentinal Rising in the series.
