Tales of Elhaanai is a story about power, kingdom, betrayal, jealousy, etc. Alanna Bear-Claw was a high priestess and queen. She was pregnant and her baby will become the heir. Alanna’s sister-in-law Devona became jealous. When oracle predicted that Alanna will be blessed with a son, Devona wanted to take her life. Using magical spell, Alanna placed her child in womb of Wleia.
Now in Wleia’s womb there are two child: one son and one daughter. Wleia gave birth to a son Alric and a daughter Elainea. She knew that son is not her. Alric was born with a healed scar running across his body from shoulder to hip. Alric and Elainea grew up as a twin and after their sixteenth birthday, Wleia revealed the truth to them that Alric is the son of Alanna and he has the purpose now to journey to the great mountain and start working towards reclaiming the throne. The story is written well and the plot is intriguing. Once you start reading this book, you couldn’t put it down until you finish it. Title of the book is apt. Cover photo could have been more creative. With smooth narration, it was an easy read. I recommend it to my fellow readers.
