From Dark To Light is an amazing book about the life of a pumpkin and its importance around the Halloween. The pumpkin seed in put in the soil. Till the time it grows up and come above the ground, the pumpkin leads a life under ground where there is no light. The little pumpkin doesn’t get to know whether it’s day or night as beneath the soil everything looks the same.
Pumpker is surely my favourite character. After reading this book, I actually understood the meaning of the title and it is so apt. The story is about the journey of pumpkin from dark (under ground) to light (after growing up and coming above the ground). This is an amazing book for kids. Pumpkin has great significance around Halloween as they are used in making Pumpkin special dishes and pumpkins are carved to be used as Jack-o’-lantern. Wonderful Children’s book that made me excited for Halloween.
Little kids will get to know about the journey of Pumpkin through this book and they will also get curious to know about pumpkin significance in Halloween.
