Sentinel by Brodie Selzer is the first book in The Sentinel Series. The protagonist of the story is Athien Dickens who often stays in Suits. Athiens is a kind of personality who prefers to fight the crime without killing.
Athien’s father Prometheus keep on pushing him to learn something. This developed a reading habit in Athien. One day when Athien was with his father (who was also a CEO) in their office in Alazarath City, USA, even though Prometheus was the target but Athien was hit by the shooter. Luckily Athien was saved by his father.
After being shot in the head, he disappeared and attended online University course. But at the exam day, for the first time he appeared in the Melbourne University.
The story is intriguing. Character development is amazing and Athien character is well written. Reading this book was a rollercoaster ride. I like the story set up in the Melbourne with increasing crime. The language is complex and I have to re-read few sentences initially but later it went smooth. I am eagerly waiting to read its sequel.
I like to recommend this to crime fiction fans.
