The Benevolent Lords of Sometimes Island is the eighth novel written by the author Scott Semegran. The story is set in 1986 Texas. The protagonist of the story is William Flynn from the suburban town Converse that is outside of San Antonio, Texas. He went to Franklin D Roosevelt School and made his best friends there. His friends are Randy Moss, Brian Johnson, and Miguel Gonzalez.
All these four friends were so close like four peas in a pod. William and his friends experienced the most dangerous event when they were in seventh grade.
The Thousand Oaks Gang led by
“Bloody” Billy Callahan are the high school bruisers. Billy is a student of Robert E Lee High School. When Billy was bullying Randy, the guard saw it and ran behind the Thousand Oaks Gang to catch it. The gang escaped but unfortunately Billy forgot his backpack on the ground. When William and his friends opened the backpack, they found thousands of dollars and marijuana in it. Read the story to know what William and his friends will do with the backpack and what danger is waiting for them ahead?
The writing style of the author is nice. Language of the book is easy to understand with smooth narration. The plot is interesting and unique. This is an action packed novel that will keep you hooked until you finish it.
