Hawk McCoy: The Penthiads is a story for children written by the author Mary T Kincaid. The protagonist of the story is a fifth grade boy named Hawk McCoy. He is a young detective and a student of Izlet Bay elementary school. Summer vacations has started and Hawk is all excited. He gonna learn how to collect and read fingerprints this summer.
Hawk went to collect fingerprints of his best friends Sandy Sue South and Tom Buford. They also formed “The Durrett Street Indispensables Handiservice”. The neighborhood use their different services especially the Dog walking service. Hawk is also excited because he want to learn how to collect and read fingerprints. Read the story to know will Hawk get a chance to solve the real mystery?
The story is written wrll. Language of the book is lucid and is easy to get. Cover page of the book is apt and well related to the contents of the story. This is a middle grade fiction for middle grade kids. I am sure that they gonna enjoy this story a lot.
