Tavern is the first installment in the Dargath Chronicles book series by the author Deston J Munden. Xelnath of the Gnarled Root is in multiple occupations to fulfill his goals. He was a tavern owner, healer, information broker and guildmaster of the Blackwind Company. The journey of Xel with his struggles, hope, twists, turns made this story gripping.
Magical world will definitely attract the fantasy lovers. Story has many characters. Xel’s character is strong even though he has self doubts sometimes. Rynn and Char are some other characters that you may like. The story is fully action packed.
Ending of the story is nice and I liked it. Written from the viewpoint of Orc, this book has nice plot and great world building. Author has done nice job. I can’t wait to read more about Xel and the crew in the sequel of this book. Excited for it already.
