If you like to read romantic novels along with a blend of suspense then Beige and Blue would be a perfect pick for you. The story is set in Amman, Jordan. The main character of a story is a young girl Samar. Her encounter with the police officer Bassel when she lost the way to her home is the beginning of their love story. Bassel is a handsome guy with good masculine body who can attract any female.
She has followed her parents advice whole life but when Bassel asked her to go on a date, she couldn’t find herself sticking to the rules set by her parents and she agreed to meet him at the restaurant. Slowly and slowly love blooms. But Samar was unaware of the risk she was inviting in her life due to the job of Bassel. Now, Samar has to choose between love and safety.
Beige and Blue is an intense story. It is so gripping that I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. It has love, romance, action, suspense, etc. The plot is built well and so are the characters. This is the debut novel of the author and I enjoyed reading the story overall. I recommend it to romantic thriller fans.
