The River Rising is a romance fiction written by the author MK Mancuso. The protagonist of the story is a girl River. After finishing her undergrad in broadcast journalism, she started working as newsroom assistant at Lark Broadcasting Station. Her dream was to work for a local TV as a news reporter.
Her boss Jace Bolton is a gorgeous looking man. Just at the age of 29, he managed to be a CEO of the company. Apart from all these good things, there is a dark side to Jace as well. He was stalking River from months ago, this scared her. Things start to change for River with the entry of Carter in the story. Who is Carter? Read the story to find out yourself.
The language of the book is easy to understand. The plot is intriguing and I couldn’t put the book down until I finished it. Characters are well built. Cover page and title of the book is apt. Great work by the author in this debut novel. River’s character, her action and behavior I could understand all if I place myself in her shoes. A must read story!!
