Under the Mango Tree is a book based on true incidents, happenings and emotions with a touch of fiction. The protagonist of the story is Diya Nair who is an eighteen years old student and loves a guy named Aditya. She was forced to marry a ten years older guy named Rajagopal. After Marriage, Diya slowly and slowly adjusted in Rajagopal’s family but the abusive nature of her husband shatters her soul every time. Diya was blessed with two beautiful and understanding kids: Anamika and Vihaan. Read this to know will she keep on tolerating this or she return to her love Aditya? There are many twists and turns to keep the story interesting.
The character of Diya is strong and I loved it. Her pain was very well expressed in the book. It’s a heart touching story that you should definitely read. The cover page and title of the book well matches with the content.
