🚀 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:
Do No Harm written by the author Tom B. Stone is an intriguing read. The main character of the story is Dr. Gideon Teague. During medical school, Dr. Teague had a month-long psychiatry rotation in a prison. This made him acquainted with several prison gangs.
Gideon was from a small rural community in Northwest Arkansas. As a seventeen-year-old when he got the first chance to escape, he got into the Marine Corps to start his career as a lance corporal. Because of his courage, Gideon was treated like a hero by his peers but Lieutenant Plundo restricted Gideon to all of the undesirable base duties and didn’t allow him on patrols. Gideon was nineteen years old when he joined the special forces. His audition for the Marine Special Operations Team was a three-phase training and vetting process. As a Marine Raider, Teague had been a part of many missions.
After being in the Marine Corps, Gideon chose the life of healing over the life of killing. During his three year medical program, he had restricted choices because of the PTSD. His trip to Honduras brought quite a change in his life. Elizabeth Rodriguez Conner from New York also reached Honduras. Read the story to know how Eliza and Gideon would be pulled into the criminal underworld.
Those who enjoy stories with action should definitely get their hands on this book. The story moves frequently between different years so that makes the reading pace slow. The characters are written well by the author. The title of the book is suitable with an attractive cover photo. I loved every bit of this book. Go for it without any second thoughts.
