“Deadsoul: Overture” written by the author Adriene Tabaquero is the first installment in The Deadsoul Book Series. Ms. Grace, the teacher is appreciated by others for her past as Jรคger, a hunter who works in the service of the people. The story features Bryce Hughes, Ethan, Adriene, etc. During the Drawing, Adriene was chosen again. But Ms. Grace paired Bryce with Adriene and Oliver with Edward.
Adriene is aggressively average in everything he does. He doesn’t have a refined soul ability like Ethan or the technical skill of Bryce. Ms. Grace explained to Adriene that Ethan and Bryce push themselves closer and closer to their dreams. Power matters the most and being Echoes, Soulless or Soundless doesn’t matter that much.
Adriene wants to help those who can’t help themselves. However, he always feels that his strength is not enough to match his ambitions. Read this story to find out if he will be successful in a fight to have a peaceful world.
The writing style of the author is nice. The language used in the book is lucid. The pace of the story is fine and I wasn’t bored anytime while reading it. The narration is smooth and strong. The simple language would allow the readers to follow the story easily.
