🚀 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:
Alpha Bette written by the author Jennifer Manocherian is a gripping story. The main character of the story is a ninety-five-year-old widow Bette Gartner. The story details the lives of Bette’s family and friends. Bette lost her husband George when he was one hundred years old. George went away on his birthday during COVID times.

Bette has outlived many of her family members. After her husband’s death, her daughter Claire insisted on having a full-time house help but Bette doesn’t like having someone at the house all the time. I could relate myself to Bette for this as I feel my freedom is lost if a househelp is around me all the time. Still, now she has Rosie and Venera to look after her.

The story has the backdrop of New York, one of my favorite cities. The story is fast paced and you won’t be bored anytime while reading this book. The cover photo of the book is nice and the title is suitable. I had a great time reading this book. This novel has characters of different ages. If you enjoy reading stories with many characters then get your hands on this book.
