‘A Labour of Love’ written by the author Elle Bloom is an erotic romance. The main character of the story is Lucy. She was in a relationship with Mark who was her boyfriend for three years. Lucy’s relationship with Mark is now over and she is looking for a new start.
Turner is Oakland Walks Site Manager. Lucy was sent to the site by Contemporary Homes. She was made the Project Manager to optimise the properties’ appeal to the target market identified. She has experience in projects and change management. However, with Construction Homes, it was her first contract. As a site manager, Turner’s responsibility was to supervise the tradespeople, manage the physical build, etc.
While working with Turner, Lucy found him attractive, confident, knowledgeable, etc. She wanted to demonstrate the value she could bring to the project. Turner also realised that Lucy’s presence is not as offensive as he had first anticipated it would be. Read this story to know if sparks fly between the two. This is a great book for light reading.
The author has done great work in her debut novel. The characters of both Lucy and Turner are written well by the author. The story is well paced and I wasn’t bored anytime while reading it. I enjoyed every bit of the story. Those who love reading contemporary romance stories should definitely get their hands on this book.
