What About Me?! By Jennifer Harris

Book: What About Me?!

Author: Jennifer Harris

Illustrator: Dakotah Aiyanna

Language: English

Rating: 4.5/5

What About Me? is a children’s book beautifully written by the author Jennifer Harris and illustrated by Dakotah Aiyanna. The story features a little girl Chandy. She is the only child of her parent and is the centre of attraction of the family. When Chandy got to know that soon new baby will come in the house, she was excited as she will become the big sister.

When Chandy parents came home with a new baby, they shower all their love on new baby and Chandy soon began to feel left out. If I would have been in place of Chandy, I would have felt the same. The story is realistic and is penned down perfectly.

The cover page of the book looks so dull. My recommendation for the cover page is the one that has eye catchy strong colors with a photo of mamma and daddy holding a new born happily in their hands and little Chandy feeling sad in the other corner. This book would be a perfect pick by mothers having newborn second child or expectant mothers so they can teach their first kids that parents love all their kids equally.

Boo by author Jeanna Ganas

Book: Boo

Author: Jeanna Ganas

Format: Paperback

Language: English

Rating: 5️⃣/5️⃣

Boo is a children’s book written by the author Jeanna Ganas and illustrated by Santhya Shenbegam R. The story is based on a real situation that the author has faced in her classroom.

Boo is the hamster and a regular class pet. One day, he stepped out of his cage and explored the school but he felt alone. He discovered that there is no place like home. I agree with Boo on this. After living away from home for work, I know how much I used to miss home during that time.

Grab a copy of this book and find out if Boo can meet his classroom friends again. I found this story adventurous and full of fun. I read this story to my little nephew and he liked it a lot. The story is written nicely with an intriguing plot.

I recommend this to my fellow readers. Go on an interesting journey of Boo and have fun.
