Story is set in Michigan. Jennifer Tracey became a widow at the age of thirty seven. She lost her husband Jim three years ago. Jennifer is a mother of two sons: Jake (12 years old) and Kenny (14 years old). After losing their father, both Jake and Kenny found solace and comfort in Father Bill who was transferred from a parish in Pennsylvania to Michigan when Jim’s accident occurred.

After three years, Father Bill had no choice but was transferred to a new church and Father Gerry replaced Bill at Our Lady of the Lakes Church. When Jake and Kenny went on a camping trip with Father Gerry, they returned home damaged. They were silent and sad. Jennifer suspected something is wrong with the boys and maybe Father Gerry is the reason behind. This is an amazing story. It’s gripping and unputdownable. Once I started reading this novel, it had all my attention. Cover photo of the book is nice and title is suitable.
